He is Dr. K Boogie Woogie.
The man is an internet sensation because of his many impromptu musical performances that has connected so many people.
Hailing from London, he travels around and when a piano is available, this guy stops the passing crowds with his exceptional talent.
His name is Brendan Kavanagh and the man is unreal with a piano.
Dr K is also an educator, author, and entrepreneur with a PhD in English literature.
It starts with Kavanagh watching and listening to a Chinese lady playing classical piano. He asks her to go on and play and after a short chat, he sits next to her and plays the same piece. Her reaction is priceless.
There were a few people already gathered around the woman. She’s no slouch either.
Dr K likes to wear disguises when he’s out and about since it adds to the element of surprise.
This time, he’s in shorts, a black hoodie with the hood covering his head, and sunglasses. He looks like a backpacker just passing through. He listens and genuinely applauds the skill of the young woman in front of him.
He asks her, “Do you know boogie-woogie?”
The woman looked puzzled and Brendan had to ask again and she still doesn’t get it.

So what’s a guy to do? Kavanagh sits and plays the same classical piece the woman was playing, all while talking to her about the different style of boogie woogie. She nods as if to acknowledge that she’s slowly getting it.
Then as if to drive his point home, Dr K switches to his very catchy boogie woogie based on the classical piece!

What they don’t realize is this is a man with over a million subscribers to his YouTube channel.
The many disguises and the impromptu piano playing launched Brendan to internet sensation status over time.
Pretty sure these ladies subscribed to his channel after this performance.
It is certainly a style that everyone would have a drink to.
