As each daughter came out it got more and more touching.

We love illusion. Magic. Especially when coupled with life as we know it.

There are so many things in this world that hold magic and yet we, as humans, tend to overlook them.

The hug of a friend, the company of animals, the love of family, and with that said, how about the connection of a father and his daughter? Or even better, daughters?

Every father dreams of having a son, surely. Someone to carry the family name and produce heirs and all that. But a daughter is priceless. She is his princess, his jewel, a treasure to guard until one deserving knight comes along and proves himself worthy of her.

There are dragons and monsters to slay and one has to prove himself worthy of her hand.

Well Russ and his three daughters, Sophia 6, Brianna 12, and Sioned 20, have played out such a perfect and wonderful act to the father-daughter relationship set to Steven Curtis Chapman’s “Cinderella”, that you won’t see a dad and his daughter the same way again.

Check out the lyrics to the song,

“Oh, I will dance with Cinderella
I don’t wanna miss even one song
‘Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight
And she’ll be gone”

It talks about the stages of a young girl who grows in to a woman with her dad watching, and it is just beautiful. You’ve been warned.

Russ captures it all with this incredible act. Grab those tissues.

The first part starts of with Sophia, She is adorable and surely the youngest princess.

Her part captures the very first verse of the song which goes,

“She spins and she sways
To whatever song plays
Without a care in the world
And I’m sitting here wearing
The weight of the world on my shoulders”

She is 6 and has little care about the world. She has her dad and that’s all that matters.

A little ballroom here and there and the audience breaks in to applause and the song just starts to tug at your heart strings.

Russ carries Sophia away and from the left enters Brianna.

She dances alone at first and carries with her the charm of an adolescent girl who, while trying to figure out the world, still needs her dad to show her the ways of life. Russ is all to happy to oblige. He dances with her and sways with her until life’s storms pass them by and we tell you, it is just beautiful to see.

Russ will not miss one song and dance for sure.

“Well, she came home today with a ring on her hand
Just glowing and telling us all they had planned
She says,
“Dad, the wedding’s still six months away
But I need to practice my dancing. Oh, please, Daddy, please?”

This is the part that got the crowd cheering. Sioned finally comes out. The “woman” who is about to face a new life but is still unsure. And for one last time, needs her father to show her life. Life through dancing.

Russ is the immortal knight and king in armor.

This is one act all dads can relate to. Whether you have one daughter or three or more, this captures the essence of what a dad is to his daughter and he will always be her go-to-man when life gets rough. Watch out, gentlemen. It’s not a dragon that you’ll have to face.

That finale is what the word “perfect” means.
