As a strong, independent woman (yes, I went there), I feel that I must put something to rest, and that is the notion that just because women want to be treated equal doesn’t mean that men shouldn’t still demonstrate some chivalry now and then. Do I want equal pay and the right to vote? Absolutely! Does that mean my husband shouldn’t bring me flowers and rub my feet while I sip on some wine every once and a while? Heck no! While there are those people out there who cannot wrap their heads around the notion that men can treat women without treating them like lesser individuals, there are also a good deal of men who GET IT. And boy, are those men setting the bar high for all others.

These 31 amazing boyfriends and husbands prove that chivalry isn’t dead by going above and beyond with their gestures of love. Check them out, then let us know what you think!
