Cheerleaders are undoubtedly the most charming and energy-pumping individuals for any kind of sporting event.
It is they who pump the moral of competing teams, help the crowd to get involved in the game, and energize the entire environment.
But cheerleaders are not limited to only national or international sporting events, they are pretty much a necessity in high school events.
And these cheerleader girls from Central High Varsity Cheerleading Squad fired up the floor with a pep rally dance, just before the final football game at Central High School.
The song was a difficult one – “Don’t Tell ‘Em” by Jeremih Feat YG – but the cheerleading girls showed their excellency from the start of the pep rally.
The smart high school cheerleading girls were a spectacle to watch with their flexible yet energetic moves.
For those who may not know, a cheer dance is not like the regular one where a dancer can change their rhythm and slow their motions.
A cheer dance follows specific rules and the cheerleaders must be sharp with precise moves to bring in the real cheering effect to the event.
And with their skillful moves, these cheerleaders have done just that.
The sitting crowd at the football court was deeply immersed in this great performance.
As the music suddenly changes to another tune – something common with rap music – the dramatic ponytailed cheerleaders transitioned to new tune as smooth as butter.
But halfway in the performance, another instance came that not only puzzled me about the agility of cheerleading dancers but that amazed the crowd as well.
The cheerleaders made an astounding move and threw off their uniforms to reveal another inner uniform.
What a classy move, indeed!
The entire home pom dance by the Central High Varsity Cheerleading Squad was based on five different songs: Dum Dee Dum – Keys n Krates, No Flex Zone – Rae Sremmurd, Smoke W**d Everyday (Hold Up twerk it remix) – DJ Now, Don’t Tell Em – Jeremih Feat YG, DG Now (Daahype Trap Remix), No Mediocre – T.I.
Considering the difficult songs that were played, this was one hell of a sultry performance by the cheerleaders of Central High School that completely rocked the house!
And here’s the biggest surprise of this marvelous cheerleader show – the girls danced to all these tunes without the help of any choreography.
This was the biggest factor that made the girls so proud of their performance because pulling out all those difficult moves, so convincingly without any help from a professional instructor, was a remarkable feat.
The audience were glued to their seats throughout the home pom pep rally and the smart cheerleading girls provided them with fleshy start to the football match.
Cheerleading originated in America and stayed as a predominant tradition in American educational institutions. Although its beginning lies in the form of violent protestations against the harsh treatment of students in the late 18th century, cheerleading eventually adorned its modern form around 1877.
In the early days, it was an all-male activity. However, by the year 1923, females started to dominate the cheerleading arena.
