Sometimes, it takes watching a seven-year-old dancing to his heart’s content to remind you of just how important confidence is. Blaise Lingle is a skilled dancer who knows no stage fright. His choice of dance type may come as a surprise to most since kids are almost always bounded by stereotypes and silly standards. Defying expectations by choosing to learn contemporary dance, Blaise’s overall charm is highlighted by his stage presence and unwavering confidence.

When a seven-year-old tells you he wants to dance, it’s easy to automatically smile and humor him and inwardly expect it to be another one of those short, adorable moments that you’ll witness multiple times a day. This seven-year-old begs to differ. His know-how in contemporary dance is nothing short of impressive.

Dressed in a brown one-piece suit, Blaise took to the stage with evident readiness. He knew it was his time to shine and his moves proved it.

His flexibility and incredible ability to keep in time with the music shows just how dedicated he is to dancing. You’ll be surprised at how easily he can do headstands and cartwheels onstage, too!

Never mind that seven-year-olds are known to still have short attention spans and would much rather do other things like play outside with their friends. Blaise Lingle took time to learn and master the choreography until he was ready to show the world what he can do.
