The skaters, Runa Maeda and Taryn Jurgensen, perfectly encapsulated the message behind this classic song.

The performance started off with Runa on her knees with her hands on her heart. Taryn was on her feet with her back towards Runa.

The song starts and the two dancers begin.

Taryn approaches Runa from behind to comfort her. She takes Runa’s hands and slowly lifts her up in a twirl.

The entire dance between Taryn and Runa was all about being there for each other when times are tough. They held hands, danced the same moves, and carried each other all throughout.

Their performance was expertly choreographed by Taryn, along with Bobby Beauchamp and Karen Kwan-Oppegard. And it won final round second place at the Tai Babilonia Trophy.
