It starts with what looks like a normal wedding video, with the bride and groom sitting at the top table, but within a few seconds, the bride bursts into song and the groom quickly joins in.
This singing is no spontaneous breakout, this has been planned. Guess what, the bride and groom arenโt the only ones in on it! As they stand up and start to walk around, you can see that the 250 wedding guests are involved in this โflash mobโ style video.
The Secret Mission
It doesnโt take long to work out that these guys can really perform, and theyโd given this event a lot of thought (not just the wedding, the performance, too!)
Guests had been given a manila envelope under the table. It set out what the bride and groom were aiming to do and briefed guests on their positions for the video. Every one of their guests got to be involved!
What a fun mission to be involved in, and what an incredible way to mark your wedding and include guests old and young.

Now, you might be thinking that these guests had a lot of the reception to prepare, but youโd be wrong. Robert Ly, the groom, wrote on the YouTube video: โguests were briefed for a quick 10 minutes and put into position before the cameras started rolling,โ
The Incredible Performance
This amazing performance was made in one single take. It starts with the bride, Teresa Ly, lip-syncing โLove is an Open Doorโ from Frozen. Quickly, the groom joins in, and as they get up and start to dance around the room, they are joined for a selection of modern classic hits! Everyone gets the chance to dance, keep your eye out for some over-70s enjoying their moment to shine.
โShake It Offโ by Taylor Swift and Psyโs โGangnam Styleโ are some of the fun songs that get the guests moving. Every aspect has been thought about, the table they reach when the Psy song comes up even have some of his signature neon glasses for their dance!
All of this culminates in a more downtempo and romantic dance, as โThinking Out Loudโ by Ed Sheeran changes the mood to a beautiful and touching moment between the newlyweds.
Two Huge Characters
If you couldnโt already tell from the video, Robert and Teresa are two huge characters! Theyโre full of fun, and their other YouTube videos show this.
Robert roped in the help of his friends previously to propose to then-girlfriend Teresa. They dressed up in superhero costumes to propose. โMy girlfriend Teresa (now wife) loves superheroes and Batman is her favorite one of them all. So a superhero proposal seems to make perfect sense.โ said Robert about the proposal.

These guys can be found day-to-day in their suitably fitting day jobs, running a Ninja themed sushi restaurant, of course! Robert admits himself that as a couple, theyโre not afraid of crazy. Check out their amazing restaurant website here.
Robert and Teresa seem really happy running their restaurant, but judging by all the thought that has gone into this video, the two would have a future in entertainment if they ever chose to move into this area.
