In all honesty, weddings can be pretty boring affairs. Some people go the extremely traditional route, others prefer alcohol-free events. Size doesn’t necessarily matter, but keeping guests entertained does.
Such was not a problem at Chris and Jillian’s wedding in 2017. They’re undoubtedly a fun-loving couple, with some real surprises up their sleeves. Jillian and her two daughters join her for a wonderfully-choreographed dance on the big day.
The song “Dear Future Husband” by Meghan Trainor fittingly starts playing. At first, the crowd seems a little confused, especially during the first few seconds, which features a rather calm, quiet introduction with slow, filtered vocals. The dancers, Jillian and her two daughters, step into the fold, slowly preparing for the song’s energy to soon pick up. Then, the beat kicks in, and the girls truly start the fun.
They all have some serious moves, staying in rhythm and performing the choreography quite well and in unison. Their similar, off-color dresses add a unique flare to the performance.
The dance continues for about 3 minutes, while the choreography becomes more and more intricate. The girls start performing their own, distinct moves within the framework of the dance, generally featuring the wife-to-be. Even though she’s likely decades older than her daughters, Jillian effortlessly keeps up with them, her dress fluttering as she moves.
The trio continues their fun performance to the delight of the event goers, as well as the husband, who is featured close and slightly off camera. The family seems to be having a ball, judging by the wide grins on their faces.
The daughters perform their own separate, tiered choreography as the music winds down. The routine comes to a crisp end, with a fitting finale featuring Jillian. The crowd lets out one last burst of energy, giving the performers a much deserved applaud for their efforts.
Her soon-to-be husband gets out of his nearby chair and goes to congratulate Jillian and her beautiful daughters with a hug. Trainor’s lyrics are especially fitting, prompting future husbands to give their love and dedication. According to Genius, the song ends by stating, “Future husband, better love me right.” This fits perfectly in line with the performance’s end and Chris’s quick, loving response.
Chris seems surprised and enthralled. He clearly adores the performance and lets the family know. As Jillian’s new husband, he’s probably in for a world of loving, new surprises. I think Meghan Trainor would be proud – Chris seems like a great guy.
The Jillian-Chris wedding seemed like a festive, fun affair. The wedding goers clearly enjoyed it. The next time you plan a wedding, take notes from Jillian and her daughters.
Near the end of the routine, the new bride.
