Brandon Rogers America's Got Talent Audition
His stunning performance brought everyone in the crowd to their feet.

The 29-year-old Brandon Rogers already had a successful career as a doctor, but still had a passion for music as well, and wanted to make a career out of both singing and helping people.

The talented young man auditioned for America’s Got Talent to a raving response from the judges and the audience, but Brandon tragically passed away before the audition could air on television.

During the July 11 broadcast of the popular talent show, they decided to share Brandon’s quite emotional audition at the end of the as a tribute to this remarkable, kind and gifted young man. The touching, heartfelt video has already amassed millions of views on America’s Got Talent YouTube channel.

“On June 11th one of our contestants, Brandon Rogers, tragically passed away in a car accident. At the request of his family, we would like to honor his memory by sharing his audition with you,” the beginning of the video reads.

Brandon died in a car accident one month before the tribute aired. Brandon’s family wanted his audition to air in memory of him.

Judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel were all stunned by the amazing performance that Brandon gave them, as he sang Stevie Wonder’s “Ribbon In The Sky” with an amazing purity and clarity that is extremely rare, even for America’s Got Talent’s standards.

“I’ve never said this to a doctor before,” judge Simon Cowell said. “You’re sick. You are one of the best singers we’ve had in the competition so far.”

After a standing ovation from all four judges and four yesses, Brandon happily called his parents to share the good news.

Brandon was inspired to become a doctor because he went through a traumatic experience at the age of just six years old. One day, he came home from school but found his mother lying in a pool of blood.

“We rushed her to the hospital, the doctors were like heroes,” he said. “They saved her life and it made me want to be the doctor that I am today.”

He became a family medicine doctor and even admitted to the judges that he would sing for his patients once in a while.

The America’s Got Talent broadcast concludes with a message, saying “Thank you for sharing your talent”.
