Many of us have been to concerts trying to catch guitar picks thrown into the crowd or have been lined up to get some signed merch. Even a mention or like on social media will send some people crazy!

For this Colorado boy, all it took was constantly going to the music shop and playing the guitar.

However, this is not just an ordinary boy – nor is it an ordinary guitar. This story warmed people’s hearts over the holidays and set a good tone for the start of the year.

This is Fallon, and he is unique in many ways.

Fallon lives with Williams Syndrome, a rare genetic condition wherein a baby is born without specific genes. This causes medical problems such as learning challenges, developmental delays, and even cardiovascular diseases. However, this is also paired with excellent characteristics such as being highly sociable, exceptional verbal skills, and a love for music.

Fallon may have Williams Syndrome, but what shone in him is his love for music.

He frequented this music store in Grand Junction, Colorado named J.B. Hart Music Co. Inc. The store owner said he would often ask to play the “Pantera” guitar – the Dean “Dimebag” Darrell ML. They were surprised at how well this young man could play some Dean Darrell riffs.

Pantera was a heavy metal band from Texas which rose to fame in the 80s.

Dean Darell was their lead guitarist and backup vocals who died in 2004, shortly after the band stopped producing any music. That is why it amazed the store owner that someone as young as Fallon knew how to place their music.

He also caught the attention of a shop customer who was amazed by his skills.

The owner told him how Fallon was fond of this particular guitar. The unknown customer left the store, returned, and bought the guitar. But he didn’t buy it for himself; he told the store owner to give it to Fallon if he came back.

This lit up the owner’s face because he knew Fallon would love it!

One problem, though: Fallon didn’t come back in the store. It took six months of waiting before he visited the store again. It turned out that they moved to Texas, but they found the time to visit Colorado during the holidays. Fallon wanted to go back to his favorite store to look at his dream guitar.

This time, he wouldn’t leave the store empty-handed.

The owner handed Fallon the Dean Darrell ML, and he was over the moon! His mother cried tears of joy seeing how her son was so excited with this news. The music store posted this beautiful story on their Facebook page.

The story doesn’t end there though!

Pantera noticed this post and reached out to Fallon’s mother.

They wanted to send some band merch to Fallon after seeing his photos. I mean, who wouldn’t want to do that to their number one fan, right? This made Fallon happier than he ever was. He even recorded a video wearing all the merch they gave him and sent it to the band.
