You have probably seen one in the street or at a commercial center.

Your first reaction might have even been wondering if this is a human being or a real statue, as their attention to details is really to the point.

However, what you will read below probably will be a first for you as to how often can a person witness a dubstep dance showdown between a human and a human statue, disguised as a robot?

The two “opponents” were Noster, the human boy whose real name is Noah Kenaley, and the human statue that goes by the name Eclypse.

As the video starts, we can see them stretching and get ready for their big dance-off!

Eclypse invites Noster to start first and Noster gladly agrees.

There is already a small crowd forming around them, ready to witness what’s coming.

With confidence, Noster launches into a series of slow, precise, and futuristic movements, which remind us of the robot/ mannequin dance.

It’s evident that Noster really knows what he’s doing because based on his dance skills he seems like an experienced dancer, and he definitely has done this before.

Of course, if you check his YouTube channel’s About page, you will read that he identifies himself as an artist with interests in film, music, and dance.

In the background, we can listen to Skrillex’s remix of the electronic track “Levels” by the late Swedish DJ, Avicii.

As soon as Noster’s turn finishes, Eclypse appears ready to applaud Noster for his performance like the rest of the crowd but then he reconsiders and ends up giving him a “you were so-so” hand gesture.

Now is the turn of the Eclypse and his chance to shine!

As you will notice in the video, Noster had a great advantage over Eclypse, he had a much bigger space to dance, while Eclypse’s dance surface is limited on his small circular platform.

Once Eclypse starts his performance, everyone is left open-mouthed with his incredible skills.

It’s obvious that Eclypse has some really professional experience in the field.

What you might not know is that Eclypse is a member of The Millennium Robots, a Cincinnati-based street-style dance performance group, which specializes in the specific style of “robotic animation”.

On their Facebook page, you can read that they identify as “individuals on a mission to inspire audiences to challenge reality, explore creativity, and accept nothing as impossible”. Isn’t this just really awesome?

Both Noster and Eclypse were incredible and really talented dancers, and their dance-off made quite an impression on the people around them and the people who later watched their video on YouTube.

The video was posted back in 2013 and since then it has accumulated more than 19 million views!

The comments of the viewers can only be characterized as dithyrambic, one wrote “Those statue dudes should be the gatekeepers to dance competitions. To enter, you gotta beat them”, while another said, “when two talented stranger dancer meets each other once”.
