Weโve all had a horrible boss at some point. Refusing to give you time off, measly pay for high-stress work, or just being unpleasant, itโs unreal how some people behave once given a position of power.
We envy these people. Theyโve decided that en
Sitting Pretty

ough is enough so they called out their bosses on the internet. Take a look and have a good laugh!
Horrible bosses stick to all sorts of arbitrary workplace rules when there is no reason for them, even at the expense of employeesโ health or wellbeing.
This worker met all the required objectives, but still gets in trouble just for sitting in a chair due to legitimate medical needs.
Itโs no wonder he quit.

Compassionate Leave
Now hereโs a boss so ridiculously unreasonable as heโs trying to argue with a worker taking their allotted time off.
He wants the guy to come in on his day off just because itโs not convenient for him.
And when he says that his father just died, so he needs his day off, the boss starts insulting him.
So good for this guy to hand in his notice with emphasis.

Not So Healthy
This one takes the cake. This boss is demanding someone come in for a shift that wasnโt theirs, and then forcing them to do it by threatening to take away their health insurance.
Talk about totally unreasonable.
This canโt be legal. And even if it was, itโs unethical. We agree with this employee quitting there and then.

Advance Allergies
Not showing up to work is a big problem, but this person had a pretty good excuse with a medical emergency.
An allergic reaction so bad requires going to the hospital, so itโs okay that you didnโt get to call in.
But this boss has no sympathy or interest in whether his employee is ok, except for telling them off for missing their shift.

Cruel Joke
This guy asked for a raise and this is the response he got. Itโs got to be the cruelest and most unprofessional thing ever seen in the workplace.
And not to mention super immature.
He wanted a raise, so dear boss raised his desk right to the ceiling. Itโs creative but bitter and not how a boss is to behave.

Serious Sickness
This guy was suffering from a tough emotional time, so he called in to take a mental health day.
We are supposed to be increasing awareness of the importance of mental health, but the boss obviously didnโt get the memo on the matter.
So he wrote this text saying that Ebola is the only sickness heโll accept as a reason for having the day off.

Out of Office
There are people who donโt understand the concept of boundaries or even a work-life balance. Like this ridiculous boss.
He canโt seem to understand that this person is already out of the office, even having booked paid time off already.
If you want an employee to work during paid time off, you should look up what โtime offโ means.
Some are just not really cut out to be anyoneโs boss.

Just Say No
Hereโs another boss who doesnโt understand the concept of time off. He is so bad for wanting to fire someone who would not come in during their days off.
If they donโt understand what time off means, then why approve it in the first place?
Mind boggling. Letโs hope this person finds another, better job.

Last Minute
Plans can change at the last minute, but for an employer to cancel someoneโs shift before itโs due to start is just uncalled for.
The poor guy was already on the bus so talk about a wasted trip.
But the boss didnโt even reply, so they really didnโt care about the wasted time.

Late Night Show
Can you imagine your boss messaging you at midnight for you to get out of bed and work?
Itโs not like youโre an on-call doctor or a fireman. This is just a regular office job answering emails.
He is so unreasonable, weโre proud of the employee for putting him in his place.
But we hope he didnโt get fired in the morning.

Advance Warning
Shift work means having to rearrange plans at the last minute, which can be annoying, but thatโs part of the job.
So when work comes up, you just have to take it.
But texting someone at 3:30 a.m. in the morning to inform them that work is in less than seven hours time, is just totally unreasonable.
Not to mention itโs unlikely that theyโll see it.

Family Time
Hereโs another boss who wants their employee to put work above anything else in their life.
Nothing wrong with putting in the effort and taking pride in your job, but demanding for a worker to cancel family Sunday plans for a last-minute shift wonโt inspire pride in anyone.
Not surprising that this guy quit on the spot.

Penny Pinching
Talk about petty. Imagine entering a bet with your boss, then ending up winning it. Sounds like a bit of fun, so no hard feelings right?
Well this boss did harbor some feelings, because he decided to pay by counting out bags of pennies. Just wow.

Screen Time
In work or our personal lives, itโs important to take time off away from our phones. You get to look at the outside world and spend more time with loved ones.
But this employer doesnโt understand that, or the fact that outside of work hours, this person should not be working.
Good thing this worker knew his rights.

Designated Driver
This boss is really something else. His employee is on his time off and in a different state for the weekend, but he doesnโt care, even encouraging him to drive under the influence.
No vacation and no responsible driving for work?
Doesnโt sound like a person who should be in charge of anything.

The Dream
Imagine going to a convenience store and seeing this on the entrance.
It would be an inconvenience, especially if you needed to buy something, but we can appreciate these workers.
If everyone is having a terrible time, there is an option to walk away.

Partyโs Over
This boss works in a lively place, with bartenders and punters who go there for a good time.
But he doesnโt understand that bartenders donโt just bartend. They like having fun too!
The boss pushes it so far that the guy actually quits right there, but he canโt accept that either.

Know Your Worth
This guy wonโt even bother to try and reason with his boss, and just straight-up told him the actual cost for bringing someone in at such late notice.
He canโt argue since itโs right there in the contract, but this boss wonโt be happy at all.
So better start treating your employees right, yes?

Childโs Play
This one is weird. An employee put up a sweet drawing from one of his children on his desk board. Totally innocent and perfectly fine.
But his boss has taken offense to it, perhaps because he wasnโt getting enough attention.
So he went ahead and added his own scrawl to it.

Caged Animal
Weโre pretty sure itโs not even legal to film your employees all day just to keep an eye on them. They still have a right to privacy.
So we love what this employee has done, hanging a photo of Nicolas Cage directly over the camera to obscure the view.

Tricky Tacos
Who knew that people this dangerous could be working in the world of food preparation?
This boss is telling his employee off just for following food guidelines and for trying his best to keep the food edible and safe.
He does get fired, but itโs probably for the best. He should have quit ahead anyway.

Bad Attitude
This seems like a lucky escape to be honest. Itโs one thing receiving bad attitude from your boss, but bad vibes from a role or company that you havenโt even committed to is a definite no.
Itโs a good thing this guy straight-up terminated his candidacy here since it doesnโt sound like a good place to work.

You Got Told
Some bosses will try to pull tricks by asking a small favor like coming in earlier than usual. Employees donโt always want to push back, so they just say yes.
This person did their research and wasnโt having it
They told their coworkers the same by telling the boss how theyโre supposed to be treated.

Getting Shirty
Letโs withhold judgment here because weโre not sure whether this employee is that bad.
If this guy is often late and doesnโt let anyone know, maybe he shouldnโt be in the running for the supervisor position.
The boss sounds annoyed, and she doesnโt sound that unreasonable so the juryโs out on this one.

Laugh It Up
All the employee wanted was to work out the payment arrangements for the vacation they did or did not take.
The boss wonโt respond with actual words, and instead used laughing emojis.
Is this employer for real? Itโs rude and unprofessional to not respond to their query properly.
Maybe quit then laugh, see how they like it.
