Near far, wherever you are… we all remember those classic scenes from the 1997 movie Titanic. Especially, since 2017 marks the iconic movie’s 20th anniversary. Well, if you’re as old as I am.
And you know the movie is a piece of history if they’re making a documentary about it, which is exactly what Titanic director James Cameron is doing.
While this makes many of us feel super old, at least there is one person laughing about it… Billy Zane.
He recently made the best joke ever about the film’s history. It all happened at one of Leonardo DiCaprio’s shindigs. DiCaprio, who played main character Jack Dawson in Titanic, hosted his annual gala last week to raise money for environmental causes.
It was a huge star studded event, and Madonna even gave a guest performance. The event was packed with celebrities, including some of DiCaprio’s Titanic co-stars, like Zane and Kate Winslet who played Rose DeWitt Bukater.
The Titanic co-stars all posed for photos together at the gala, which of course made their way to social media.
Specifically, Zane’s Instagram account where he made the best joke ever.
He posted a photo with him, DiCaprio and Winslet with a caption that read:
“Gangs back together. Now we’re saving icebergs. Go figure…”
If you don’t realize why this is hysterical, we’ll explain. The movie they starred in was about a giant ship hitting an iceberg, which made the ship sink and killed many of the people on board.
The internet, of course, is losing their minds over this. Apparently, this is the best thing ever.

Well, my heart will go on thanks to this joke. It definitely softens the blow over the reality that this film was made 20 years ago.
