There are plenty of skin conditions that completely change the appearance of both humans and animals alike. Some may think of them as defects, but they are actually beautiful imperfections.
One example is Vitiligo. It is an unusual long-term skin condition that can affect both humans and animals. This existing skin condition causes patches of skin to lose their natural pigment, thus affecting how one looks like. On the other hand, there is what we call albinism. This is also another skin condition that is passed on genetically. Albinism is the lack of melanin of an organism, which causes its natural pigment to appear white or pale.
Here are some examples of Vitiligo or Albino animals that made them even look beautifully unique!
1. A chameleon with vitiligo
Chameleons, one of the animals adept at disguising itself with nature, could also be affected with vitiligo. In this case, you could see how this chameleon’s legs were pale as white. You could not help but wonder whether this affects his ability to blend with the environment.
