This is little baby Emani!

She’s an adorable little lady from Detroit with a lot of personality!

She has a really distinct look and she’s super clever so she’s already a comedian right out of infancy!

Emani was first noticed by the world when her mum posted a video of her making her “mad face.”

It’s seriously the cutest thing you’ll watch today!

She’s so little and she still knows exactly what her mum is asking for somehow.

The video begins with a very smiley Emani.

She seems really happy, all is well and good and then she changes in an instant when

her mum asks her to show her mad face.

It’s so good, I love it! I can’t stop watching the video over and over. How she learned at such a young age to put on such a good mad face I couldn’t tell you, but we’re very happy she did.

To make it even better, her mum’s laughter is absolutely contagious.

And it has an effect on Emani as well, who slowly begins to soften as her mum is laughing!

And then pretty quickly, Emani is backing to laughing herself as well, right back to where we started!

She even does this a couple of times, so you know it’s no fluke!

I’ve written before about how babies will laugh with you, so if you’re laughing or smiling, they will laugh and smile, which explains why Emani softens so quickly after making her mad face! It’s all thanks to her mom’s great laughter!

She’s obviously a natural born performer

and her mom has been making sure to document her life and share her funniest and cutest moments on Instagram!

People have been loving the video of course and they have been providing overwhelmingly positive responses!

Check some of these out:

“She knew exactly what was being asked of her. So smart and cute!” -Candi Demetay

“She is too cute, even with her mad face.” -a hey

Are we not going to talk about the fact that she seems to be under 2, but understand perfectly what is being asked of her??😱” -Zahra Lamin

Good point, Zahra! Emani really seems to understand what is being asked of her, even when her mom just says “show me again.” So when do babies really start to understand language? According to WebMD:

Baby talk at 9 months.

After 9 months, babies can understand a few basic words like “no” and “bye-bye.” They also may begin to use a wider range of consonant sounds and tones of voice.

Baby talk at 12-18 months.

Most babies say a few simple words like “mama” and “dadda” by the end of 12 months — and now know what they’re saying. They respond to — or at least understand, if not obey — your short, one-step requests such as, “Please put that down.”

Either way, Emani is showing off that big brain of hers, since she understands these requests so well and is willing to have fun and play along with her mum!

You can watch the video below and I highly, highly recommend you do, it’s a blast to watch.
