Babies don’t really have to try so hard. They don’t try to be cute, they just are. If they are eating food, it’s cute. If they are crying, it’s cute. Heck, even when they are waking up from a nap — you guessed it — it’s cute.
A baby can do the simplest thing and end up going completely viral on the Internet. It may not be fair, but it makes sense. When something is this adorable, you can’t help but watch and share it with everyone you know.
This video was uploaded in March 2011 and got almost 2.5 million views pretty much right away. That’s because the whole world just could not handle all of the cuteness.
“Lexa’s awake so we’re gonna go get her… Let’s see,” someone behind the camera says (presumably her mother).
Her mother walks into her baby’s room only to reveal the most adorable baby of all time, laying in her crib perfectly still.
Lexa’s reaction is priceless.
The baby’s eyes are wide open and she has the biggest smile on her face — it almost seems as if she was up and patiently waiting for her mom to enter the room. She already looks so happy but then when she sees her mom her smile gets even bigger.
You wouldn’t think a baby could even smile this big, but Lexa is managing to do it. She looks like the happiest little bean in the whole wide world.
The baby rolls over in her crib as her mama talks to her. And it gets even cuter. Her mother playfully pokes her face and Lexa giggles. Her mom continues to talk to her in a cute baby voice and you can tell these two are best friends.
Her mom asked her if she wants to get up and eat some bananas, which are apparently her favorite. The tiny child just continues to giggle and is obviously just so happy to have her mama there. We’re assuming she would love to eat some bananas!
We can assume that this baby is living the best life — that’s why she seems so happy after all, right? She probably wakes up, eats a banana, takes a nap, eats another banana, takes another nap, eats something else good, and then maybe takes a bath and feels all squeaky clean, ready for another night of sleep. Doesn’t sound too bad to us.
And this mama is so lucky as well! To have a baby that is so smiley and happy… Yep, it seems like the perfect life.
This video brings so much joy, it’s no wonder why it got two million views. All Lexa did was wake up from a nap but that was enough for the world to decide that she is the cutest thing ever! Every view was well-earned.
