Sure we may not always understand what they’re saying, but having a few decent conversations with kids would really open your eyes to how those little minds think. Those minds are inquisitive and imaginative so you never know where a chat with a child could lead to.
Parents know this all too well, and this dad in the video below could tell you a thing or two after this conversation with his daughter.
This is one he won’t forget.
Daughters are always precious to their fathers. They are the princess of the family as far as the king is concerned. In fact, look around and you’d be hard pressed to find a father who isn’t smitten with his daughter.
Take this father and his baby, Ava. Ava is six weeks old in this video and already has her daddy wrapped around her tiny finger.
Ava and dad are hanging out with the little one in her bouncer seat with their eyes locked on to each other. Dad and daughter proceed to chat, though with minimal words, it is still a heart melting moment between these two.
Ava’s coos are just too adorable!
Babies have so much to grow in to in a matter of months. There are so many tiny aspects that need to develop, including language and communication. Mom and dad are always excited for those milestones!
Babies usually begin cooing at around six to eight weeks making it their first sounds besides crying.
How do baby girls get their dads to focus on them? They stare, smile, and make the cutest noises known to man. Naturally, dad is all ears. He responds to Ava with “Yeah” just letting her speak to him with those gentle coos.
Dad may be the biggest, toughest man but his daughter can always open that burly heart. He gently whispers to her, “Daddy loves you.” There’s no doubt about that. Pretty sure Ava feels the same way.
But daddy isn’t done yet.
He wants to learn about her day. He encourages his little Ava and with a soft voice goes,
“What else? What else?”
If dad wants his daughter to grow in to a little chatterbox then so be it!
It’s a good thing though because with his encouragement, Ava will learn to trust her father with anything and everything. That includes all the growing up stuff. Boys better be careful.
Pretty obvious that the precious baby is enjoying her dad’s voice while looking up at him. The feeling is definitely mutual here. Dad cannot get enough of his lovely daughter. Can you blame him?
Now if the experts are right, that means that pretty soon, Ava will start laughing then babbling her little heart out. Which means… her first words will soon follow. Better have that camera ready, dad!
Such a simple video yet with all the right feels that just overflows with sweetness.
Lucky parents. And if you’re not a parent, doesn’t it make you want to be one? It certainly is a challenge, even intimidating for most, but the rewards are so much sweeter than you think. Just ask Ava’s dad.
