30-year-old, Kristina Gauld, sings a song from The Little Mermaid to her 4-month-old daughter and gets the most adorable reaction
When Kristina started singing to her baby, she had no idea a video of her doing so would go viral and touch peoples hearts all around the world. In the endearing moments, Kristina begins singing ‘Part Of Your World’ from The Little Mermaid soundtrack and it’s immediately obvious that baby Lyla loves her mother’s voice.
According to the Cognitive Neuroscience Society, studies show that singing to your baby can benefit their cognitive brain development. The CNS says that singing to your infant can increase their attention and displays when it comes to positive emotions toward their mother.
