Babies are empty glasses ready to be filled, they learn the basics and fundamentals of life from the grown-ups. They learn things in the most hilarious and adorable way. Things can even get funnier when babies try to copy something โ something that is new to their eyes or ears.
And thatโs what exactly happened in this funny video.
When a baby starts to learn or mimic things that people do around them, itโs always fun to watch.
I canโt imagine how this aunt discovered that her niece can growl. Was she growling and the baby mimicked her? Did the baby overhear the dog and mimicked the dog?

Maybe the baby was just growling on her own and her aunt got her to do it on command?
This auntie-baby bond turned out to be absolutely hilarious and weโre glad that this heartwarming scene was caught on tape.
Someone decided to hit the record button on a cozy session between auntie and her niece.

The video shows auntie sitting in a chair outside and holding the baby facing toward her in her lap. Someone recording, probably mom, says โGo.โ
Then there goes auntie letting out a low growl at the adorable baby.
The child looks at her intently. As if sheโs studying her every move and sound. And Iโm pretty sure the baby was because she let out a little roar of her own right after that.

It was a teeny tiny little burp of noise but she had the facial expression down pat.
With both her hands up, this little โmonsterโ even lunged her tiny body forward โ looking like a cute mini bear.
There was a fierceness to this little babyโs roar.

Well, auntie just found this to be hysterical and broke into giggles.
Auntie and baby went on at each other for a couple more growls and everyone around them couldnโt help but let out some hearty laughs too.
Still, the babyโs roars werenโt long and grumbly like aunties. They were short little baby roars.

Still, this little baby was determined to learn.
Sheโs one โscaryโ cutie!
All she had to do was study her aunt and practice what she saw. Then sheโd be roaring in no time.

And the more she practiced the fiercer and longer her tiny growls got.
Then she unleashed one animalistic perfect grumble.
And with that, it was official. She was a roarer. She could roar.

Her aunt was extremely proud and laughed so hard that her face scrunched up.
โYou gettinโ mad at me?โ she asked the little girl.
It seemed like it because that little baby really let it rip.

Itโs the most precious ever.
The original video of this cute back and forth of roars was viewed more than 4.4 million times on YouTube.
Apparently, growling babies are a pretty normal thing.

According to Diane Paul, Ph.D., director of speech-language pathology for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association:
โAlthough this throaty noise isnโt as common as some other baby sounds, within the first six months many babies do growlโand it doesnโt mean theyโre unleashing their inner animal. At first, itโs just a reflex, like crying or gurgling. But your infant may start making growling sounds (grrr) on purpose because he likes the feeling it produces in his throatโฆโ (Source: Parents)

Babies will start growling around 4 to 6 months.
The sound may come every once in a while or even regularly, but thatโs totally fine and itโs nothing to be worried about.
โEnjoy your growling baby. Babies are precious gifts, and each new thing your baby learns is a present for you to enjoy. Try imitating the growl and see if your baby responds to you,โ the website suggests. Get down on their level by laying on the floor for someone on one tummy time or curl up onto a bed bringing your baby close to you just to learn from each other. You may find this is a way for you and your baby to have your secret conversation. You and baby will enjoy these loving moments, and you both will grow closer every day.โ
Savor every moment with your babies because they will not stay babies forever and youโll surely miss the days when theyโre still young.
