Auntie here is having a little playtime session with her niece, and it gets a little intense. Now, aunties and uncles are the best playmates to most kids. Your parents’ siblings are going to love you to death, all because you remind them of their siblings when they were younger.

So with that much love for their nieces and nephews, it’s inevitable that they can get carried away and come off too strong.
We’ve all been there. You try to make a kid laugh or play along with their games, and you unintentionally make them cry or upset. It sucks, but that’s how kids are.

The baby girl here though, doesn’t have time to cry. Auntie play-growls at her, and rather than cry, this baby girl lets auntie know she’s not to be messed with.
She growls back, and she means it. Her brows intensify, and her face is a whole lot more intense than her growl.

Her brows angle down, and she bares her teeth (well, tries to, at least) like a wolf growling at outsiders to stay out of its territory. It comes straight out of nowhere, and the ensuing laughter from auntie and the other grown-ups tells me that they weren’t ready for it either.

It’s hard not to wonder where she learned this from. Maybe her parents are secretly werewolves? Look at her. She’s this close to pouncing at her auntie. Baloo and Bagheera would be pretty proud of this little mancub, don’t you think?
Auntie isn’t the slightest bit scared though, and she’s practically in stitches from laughter.

Whatever enjoyment she was trying to get from this play session, she’s definitely gotten it now. Mom and dad are going to have to calm her down when the day is over, though.
I’ve seen children getting upset and screaming at adults, although I can’t say I’ve seen many who’ve growled at them. Maybe the family dog has been teaching her things?

One more time, auntie gives a slow, playful growl and her niece takes it a little too seriously. Auntie’s lucky that she’s still this small and can’t pounce on her to bite. She sure looks like she wants to do that.
Been watching the big cats and wolves on Our Planet, have we?
With this much fearlessness in her, mom and dad won’t have to worry about anyone trying to bully her. All she has to do is bare her teeth, and any would-be bullies will go running off with their tail between their legs.

It’s not exactly a bone-chilling or blood-curdling roar, but the look on her face just says “I will maul you”, and that’ll be more than enough to intimidate anything she comes across.
I wonder if her baby formula is Gazelle-flavored. Yeah, that might be it.

This girl will be defending her territory and scaring off rivals, all while drinking from a bottle and having her diapers changed.
Whatever her parents did to get her to be this fearless at under a year old, they should keep it up. One of the most helpful attributes to have in life is fearlessness and a head-on attitude.

Of course, I mean being fearless in other ways that don’t involve growling at people.
You won’t be convincing any employers to hire you, or people to date you by growling at them. Doesn’t hurt to try though, right?
