We are one week into Summer 2017 and many of us have welcomed the season with open arms. Unless you’re in Arizona right now, which is basically a fiery hell pit of heat.

While the entire Southwest is experiencing a heat wave, Arizona temperatures have reached 100+ degrees Fahrenheit several days in a row.

Stuff is just straight up melting in Arizona, like this plastic mailbox:

Girls are reportedly experiencing record levels of skleave, also known as boob sweat.

It’s so hot that even simple tasks are a no-go or require extreme precaution, like public transportation, walking, driving, and touching things.

Flights had to be canceled this week because of the heat.

Dogs have to wear shoes so they won’t burn their feet on the steamy hot sidewalks.

It’s so hot you can’t even touch your steering wheel. People are literally using oven mitts.

And don’t even think about touching anything outside.

Since it’s too hot to cook inside people have taken to cooking on the sidewalks and in their cars. Cookie anyone?

Luckily, some people can have a sense of humor about it.

Good luck Arizona and try to stay cool (and indoors)!
