Apart from the great Andrea Bocelli, the video also features his youngest child, Virginia Bocelli. This raw talent of hers might still be far from stardom, but knowing that she’s under the supervision of her father, it’s almost safe to say that she’ll become a superstar in no time.
Andrea Bocelli is a famous Italian opera singer, songwriter, tenor, and record producer!
He rose to fame in 1994 after winning the preliminary round of the 44th Sanremo Music Festival performing “Miserere.” In fact, it was the highest marks to have ever been recorded in the newcomer’s section.
As we all know, Andrea is also blind.
Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with congenital glaucoma when he was just 5 months old and became totally blind when he was 12 after a football accident. Some might look at his disability as a disadvantage, but not Andrea.
He fought his battles hard and rose to stardom with his incredibly beautiful singing prowess.
Celine Dion even said:
“If God had a singing voice, it would sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli”.
Did you know that Andrea has two sons from his previous marriage, Amos and Matteo? Then, back in 2012 he and his wife Veronica Berti, welcomed their first child together, Virginia. Berti is also Andrea’s manager and they got married in 2014.
The video shows the little Bocelli being taught by both her loving parents. They are also allowing their little girl to develop her own touch to her music.
Also, with the help of her karaoke and other devices, she is, step-by-step, trying to develop her young raw vocals. She obviously wants to follow in her father’s footsteps.
Fall On Me
The video starts as Virginia is beautifully singing her brother’s part of the hit song, “Fall On Me.”
The song was made famous by her father and older brother, Matteo. The song was written by the music duo “A Great Big World” and Bocelli’s duet is on the 2018 album, “Sì.”
As we all know, our parents are always our first teachers.
Looking at the clips, it’s pretty obvious that both Andrea and Veronica are hands-on when it comes to Virginia’s singing. They are paying close attention and coaching her passionately with all their hearts.
It must be so encouraging to see your parents also love what you love doing, right?
