If you’re a fan of live music, you have heard about Allie Sherlock.
She is a young Irish singer with 2.8 million YouTube followers who became internationally famous after appearing on Ellen.
Sherlock has already had a lot of success, but we’ll surely hear more about her as time goes on.
The streets of Dublin were blessed with her presence.
Sherlock can be seen standing on Grafton Street in Dublin, Ireland. Colleague Philly Campbell has his guitar by her side and together, they’re ready to perform the acoustic version of one of Sheeran’s biggest hits.
It takes a lot of guts to stand in public and sing well. She’s one confident girl!
Ed Sheeran is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer who released his first EP in 2011
He is one of the planet’s most beloved artists. Today, Sheeran has songs that made him one of the biggest names in pop music. “Perfect” is one of those songs and comes from Sheeran’s third studio album. So when Allie Sherlock sang her rendition, people automatically stopped to watch. They know the song!
Before long, people were drawn to sing along in various languages.
Yes, you guessed it, they’re about to make a “Perfect” show.
One thing’s for sure—she sang Sheeran’s song perfectly and completely owned it. She’s got a brilliant voice and is very sweet on stage. And on the streets?
Well just look at how she stops all those strangers!
A viewer commented,
“Her voice is a combination of Amy Winehouse and Adele, just beautiful!”
It was a chilly day out but Allie’s singing added a warmth that was so welcome.
What an amazing voice from such a sweet girl! Most of them start recording Sherlock while enjoying the music.
It’s a welcome break from a busy day for sure. Where’s the pub when you need it?
From all the people who were singing along with Sherlock, one guy stood out in particular.
This guy was singing in Italian, and clearly wanted to come closer. Sherlock noticed and moved aside right away letting the young man serenade the crowd.
He’s really good! You know he’s had training!
It all turned out quite well in the end—completely spontaneous, yet amazing.
If we didn’t know that he appeared right out of nowhere, we would have thought they rehearsed it. Someone should definitely notify Sheeran to check this out if he hasn’t already seen this.
We somehow think that this performance will also become a sensation.
The man who sang with Sherlock is a 17-year-old busker named Cuan Durkin. After digging a little bit, we’ve found out that he often performs on the streets of Dublin as well.
It must be said that the people of Ireland must be happy to have such great music on the street!
