That is why Aleksandar Mileusnic swing version of the song on the singing competition “Britain’s Got Talent” was such a surprise, winning both the audience and the judges over. Aleksandar Mileusnic Takes the Stage on “Britain’s Got Talent”
As Mileusnic took the stage, the judges, including Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams, had an idea of what to expect from the 23-year-old singer, as they knew he had competed in a music competition show before. After a brief introduction and pre-taped interview, the music began to play.

For their part, the judges seemed genuinely pleased as Mileusnic belted out a smooth swing version of the song “Seven Nation Army,” made popular by the band The White Stripes. Before taking the stage, Mileusnic was interviewed talking with his partner, who was pregnant with their first child.
According to Mileusnic, “Finding out we were expecting was a massive blessing. I hope to do alright because I think it will help a lot towards our family. I want to give my new family the best life I can give them. I want to make them proud.”
Who Is Aleksandar Mileusnic?
Aleksandar Mileusnic, who was born in Britain to a Serbian father, is from Stevenage, Hertfordshire and is a 23-year-old council worker who has dreams of becoming a singer. He has met with some success as a singer, having released an EP, “Cruise,” on iTunes in 2012.
Mileusnic’s Appearance on the Voice
“Britain’s Got Talent” is not the first singing competition that Mileusnic has appeared on. He also appeared on “The Voice UK” as Alex Josh. On his initial appearance on the voice, coaches will.i.am and Danny O’Donoghue turned their chairs around for him, with Mileusnic eventually choosing to work with O’Donoghue.
The then 17-year-old Mileusnic finished in sixth place on “The Voice UK,” impressing the audience with his covers of “Dream a Little Dream of Me” and “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz. His finish in the semifinals of the show only fueled his desire to try his luck on “Britain’s Got Talent.”
How Did He Do on “Britain’s Got Talent?”
Mileusnic ended up finishing just out of the finals on “Britain’s Got Talent” after he failed to get the public’s vote. On his final appearance on the show, Mileusnic sang Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” putting his signature swing spin on the song. Mileusnic lost to opera singer Gruffydd Wyn and comedian Robert White.
