Love is immeasurable, especially when it is mutual.
And nowhere is that truer than from fans to their favorites and from favorites to their fans.
Irish singers Ronan Scolard and Glenn Murphy are huge Adele fans.
Both singers were invited to perform onstage with Adele in what turned out to be a great surprise and a moment of great excitement for Murphy and Scolard as well as thousands of fans at the SSE Arena, Belfast.
The duo caught the attention of Adele and the entire internet a week before when they recorded a live performance of three of Adele’s songs. The result was a beautiful and touching medley of voices and piano which went viral on the internet.
The amazing moment came when the two singers were called onstage by the Grammy award winner.
Inviting them to the stage, Adele explained that she had seen their video—and that they couldn’t all be in the same city without her calling them onstage! The remark showed her humility and the respect she has for her fans and other artists.
As they came up running, the crowd went wild with a lot of cheers for the pair. But that was not all. Adele revealed to them that for the purpose of their performance, a piece of special equipment—a grand piano—had been brought on stage.
It was probably one of the biggest nights for Murphy and Scolard who had absolutely no clue that they would perform. Adele remarked: “I swear to God they did not know that I was going to do this.”
The joy of standing in front of thousands of fans, singing and standing next to a celebrity like Adele shows in both Scolard and Murphy’s eyes.
The duo sung “Someone Like You,” “Hello” and “All I Ask.”
In the process, they lit up the SSE Arena with their melodious voices to which the other fans sangs along. The harmony of the voices is something that will make even hard-hearted people shed tears.
One of the biggest surprises of the night was that Adele not only invited them on stage but also gave them the spotlight, excusing herself to a corner of the stage. Above all, it was just another example of how music can bring people together.
Adele excused herself and allowed the two singers to have the stage.
Adele was seen in the background teary-eyed and all smiles while the duo performed in a complete state of shock.
They stole the show, performing with profound enthusiasm!
One of the wildest dreams of any music fan is meeting their idols or favorite singers. As a result, some go to extreme lengths to get not only their attention but also souvenirs from them. Some even tattoo images of their favorite artists on themselves permanently!
The thrill of such moments is something really unexplainable. Sometimes it’s crazy, other times it’s cool and other times it can even be soul-lifting.
