I personally could never hate movies like Harry Potter or Star Wars. Our team here at Shareably adores almost every one of the following movies in this list with our whole hearts, but that doesn’t mean our idols do, too!
While these actors and actresses have poured their hearts into these movies, the films on this list fell short for them. We can’t fault them for having their own personal opinions, even though, we think they’re definitely wrong. Whether it’s personal reasons, on-set conflicts, or a reflection after the fact, we take a deep dive into these actors and actresses’ feelings about the films they starred in.
Harrison Ford – Blade Runner
Blade Runner starring Rick Deckard and Harrison was an incredible form that did well at the box office when it released in 1982. However, despite its success, Ford doesn’t like the movie. He cites that he had disputes with director Ridley Scott while on set. Ford has a lot of film experience, so he’s naturally critical of a lot of production elements. He didn’t like his voiceovers in the film; he felt something was off about them. While the film was popular, it sounds like things were a bit volatile behind the scene.
Sam Worthington – Clash of the Titans
In the 2010 film, Clash of the Titans, Sam Worthington plays the main character, Perseus, a demigod of Zeus who is set on an epic adventure. Despite the action and prestige that comes with the role, Worthington hated the end result. He felt he could have done a much better job acting and this wasn’t his best output. He did have a chance to redeem himself when he reprised his role in the sequel.
Alec Baldwin – Rock of Ages
Alec Baldwin says, “It was a complete disaster,” when referring to his 2012 film, Rock of Ages. Baldwin genuinely believes the movie was just terrible. He only decided to join the film to be among his co-stars and work with the director.
Nicole Kidman – Australia
Nicole Kidman typically doesn’t like to see her own films, but her 2006 film, Australia, was not one she could avoid altogether. She has stated that she can’t connect with the film emotionally. “It gets worse as I get older,” she says. Kidman has also reportedly avoided reading the reviews about the film, citing just how embarrassed she is.
Sylvester Stallone – Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot
Sylvester Stallone is no stranger to self-deprecating movies, and he definitely isn’t afraid to admit when something goes wrong or turns out bad. He is not a fan of his 1992 movie Stop! Channing Tatum – G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra
Many fans don’t realize Channing Tatum did not enjoy his movie G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra. His main issue with the movie was the script. Daniel Craig – Spectre
Daniel Craig is famously known these days as James Bond, but not all the Craig Bond movies were loved by fans. Spectre received a lot of criticism and backlash from fans, which Craig has agreed with. Jason Bateman – Horrible Bosses 2
Jason Bateman was a fan of the first movie, but not the sequal. He just felt the sequel wasn’t necessary as there wasn’t any demand for it from the fans. The movie flopped, and while he and the rest of the cast tried to make a good movie, it couldn’t live up to the first movie’s expectations.

Lindsey Lohan – I Know Who Killed Me
Lindsey Lohan’s reason for hating her role in this 2007 movie is a bit more justified than the others on the list. Daniel Radcliffe – Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
It’s not the role or the film itself that Daniel Radcliffee hates about Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, it’s his own personal performance.
