This nine-year-old is taking his passion for dinosaurs to another level
Eli lights up when he is around anything to do with dinosaurs and his recent trip to the Museum aptly displays this.
It Was Suggested That He Could Write A Book
Eli’s response was that he already has and, in fact, he is just starting his second one. Not only does he have an extensive love and passion for dinosaurs he is very knowledgeable about publishing his works. His first book is self-published. The books are quite impressive.
A Hero For Eli
While most kids may class their hero as one of the super figures this is not for Eli. One that he looks up to is the head curator at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
His Hero Is Leaving
Eli heard that the curator was leaving the museum.
Although sad to see him go Eli made it his priority to wish the curator well in his new undertaking at the Smithsonian
The Second Priority
After using his manners with the good wishes Eli had a second priority and that was to step into the curator’s now vacant position at the Museum. Keeping in mind that this young lad is only nine years old.
Eli’s Job Application
The CEO of the Museum received a CV for the job from Eli. Listing his education as a third grader. It came with a three-page cover letter.
Letter Of Recommendation
To boost his chances of getting the position he attached a letter of recommendation from his teacher.
This is Not A Joke
This is not a joke that Eli is playing he is absolutely serious about filling the curator’s position. He believes he has the knowledge and experience at least when it comes to dinosaurs
Geological Digs
Eli is quite serious about the digs he has been on with the hopes of discovering more about dinosaurs. Although he admits that most of these have taken place in his backyard. One discovery was a bone that was surmised to be a chicken bone but Eli is not convinced. He says the bone didn’t look new it looked almost prehistoric.
A Bit Of Humor
The commentator who was interviewing Eli was amused at his description of the bone that he had discovered. Since Eli has been the age of three his parents have made sure that he has enjoyed different dinosaur experiences.
His Parents
Eli has great parents who support his passion. Since Eli has been the age of three his parents have made sure that he has enjoyed different dinosaur experiences.
The CEO
The CEO of the Museum did not just brush this off as a child’ whim. He said these are the kinds of kids that grow up to win the Nobel prize or find a cure for cancer.
Eli’s Interview
George the CEO wanted to encourage Eli so he brought him in for an interview.
Eli showed up for his interview all decked out in a suit and was able to answer the questions presented to him as to why he should be hired as a pro.
What Happen’s Next?
Eli reiterated that if he didn’t get the job then it just means he needs to learn more about the dinosaurs and apply for another job.
Asked if he would ever give up his reply was “Never!” However, he was given a temporary position at the Museum as a “curator for a day”.
