Like any other mother, Lindsay wanted her sonโs birthday to be special so she did her best to make it memorable and fun! Along with the party preparation, she also sent out invitations to all of Christianโs classmates but sadly, only one little girl agreed to come. Lindsay was heartbroken.
Indeed, any parent would feel sad about this outcome. No parent wants to see this, itโs not just unfair but also heart-wrenching but she has to be strong and continue with the birthday plans.
โI have a friend in Texas. She wanted to be there to help celebrate Christian but obviously couldnโt. And she is friends with this football coach, and she knew that our towns were close. So, she sends him a message and said, Hey, do you think that you can go to a party that I canโt go to?โ
Without hesitation, this football coach reached out to Christianโs mom and asked if he and a couple of his best players can come to the party. Lindsay agreed and was already feeling grateful.
Well, Coach Dan didnโt just visit Christian on his birthday. He made it very special too. He showed up in a big way and not just by himself, but with some awesome guys too!
โThey literally started coming in andโฆ โ
Christian continued his momโs words.
โโฆ And chanting my name! It was like: โChristian! Christian! It was absolutely amazing!โ
The video shows the beautiful reaction of Christian as these high school football players started coming in all in uniform, chanting his name. They even brought gifts and played with him and they even gave him a football of his own! Anyone who would see the smile and happiness in Christianโs face would know that this is indeed a very happy birthday for him.
Lindsay also shared that she has seen Christian sleeping with the football tucked around his arms.
What an amazing turn-around!
A simple thought, a simple act of kindness and love from all the people who made Christianโs birthday special didnโt just make him happy. These people made memories with him, something that all children would treasure.
