This guy has got to be one of those parkour professionals who spend their lives daring death and climbing all over dangerous buildings. That looks so unsafe!

We can imagine the conversation between the two guys responsible for this. “Hey, should we rent a bigger truck to carry that thing home?” “No, don’t worry about it, I’ll just stand in the back and hold it steady while you zoom down the highway at 90 miles per hour.” “Sure, okay!”

This truck was caught doing 65 on the highway with the back wide open and nothing but a simple safety belt to hold all of that stuff in. Plus, there’s a guy just sitting there, like everything is totally normal.

Wow, this guy must really have a death wish. He and his buddy couldn’t think a smart and safe way to get up there, so she just leaned the ladder over the rails and decided to tie the guy to the top of it.

Imagine walking along the street and seeing a scene like this! It almost looks like something out of a movie, but it actually happened in a Chinese town. We hope the guy managed to get down safely afterwards.

You have to love this picture. The guy is at the top of the tallest ladder of all time without anyone else nearby to help or any kind of safety gear, but he still took time to put out a little warning cone at the base of the ladder. How cute. Unfortunately, that cone won’t save him if the ladder falls.

This is a guy who is standing on top of an 11-story building to do some welding work. Instead of professional scaffolding or some kind of support structure, he’s just balancing on a bit of wood.

Mistake 1) You’re standing on a garbage can. Mistake 2) You’re trying to use a chainsaw one-handed. Mistake 3) You and your buddy are standing right beneath the branches you’re trying to cut. This is a real recipe for disaster.

No, this guy hasn’t accidentally fallen in. He actually got in there himself to clean it out. This is so dangerous! It must be pretty dark and scary in there too.

It’s already pretty dangerous to be standing on such a tall ladder without anyone holding onto it or watching your back. To make matters worse, this daredevil has decided to precariously balance one leg over on the roof tiles. Wow.

Apparently, this guy was drinking beers before deciding to scale up this pole and live wire a light. He’s topless, without any proper safety equipment or tools at all! Some people just don’t seem to understand what the word ‘danger’ really means.

We have to hand it to these guys. They certainly got creative with the ladders here. But that doesn’t make what they’re doing any less risky!

What is this guy thinking? He’s buried up to his waist in grain and he’s using a welding torch! Does he want to blow the whole place up?

This is the sort of thing you only find in Texas! A dude is standing on the back of a truck and filling up garbage cans with gasoline. Why? We have no idea. We just hope he isn’t a smoker.

It’s always annoying at the grocery store when you can’t quite reach the items on the top shelf, but this is the wrong way to try and solve the problem! This man is standing on a bunch of wine bottles that could so easily just shatter into a thousand pieces right beneath his feet.

Yes, that’s an actual guy crouching down under that storm of sparks! There’s a huge saw only a few inches away from his face, but the two workers just seem to be carrying on like everything is fine and dandy.

Wow, we really hope this guy wasn’t afraid of heights while installing this A/C unit! He had to go outdoors on this little ledge without any kind of safety harness to keep him from falling down to his doom below.

The whole point of those machines is to lift the car up so you can work on the underside. What’s the point of leaving it up there and putting yourself in jeopardy when you could just crank it back down?

Thankfully, the guy in this gif wasn’t hurt as badly as he could have been. He suffered bruising and a banged head, but if things had gone differently, he could have landed on his own saw!

Seriously, what is this guy doing working in construction? With such little regard for his own safety, he’d be much better suited to the life of a stuntman and he could probably make more money too.

These guys are literally walking across spiky bits of rebar! Every day must feel like an obstacle course for them.

Imagine looking down and seeing that endless black chasm stretching out beneath your feet. Now imagine you’re standing on stilts at the same time, supported only by a little piece of wood.

The technical term for a fear of heights is acrophobia, but we’re 100% sure that this guy definitely doesn’t suffer from it! How could he? He’s casually chilling out on top of two ladders while his friends watch on, ready to catch him if he falls.

These guys realized that the ladder they bought along was just a little on the short side, so instead of going to get a better one, they decided to simply lift it up off the ground! For some reason, a chair is just sitting there beside them as well. Maybe it’s a safety mat for the guy to aim for if he falls.

We’ve seen some innovative and creative uses for ladders throughout this list, but this one really takes the cake! This guy stacked countless little ladders in some kind of artistic sculpture just so he could access this skylight.

Okay, we’re sure this guy must have trained hard for this and is surely super talented to be able to stand across two horses while guiding another three of them around a track, but is it really worth the risk? At least put a helmet on, dude.

So, that’s sewer water, right there. This is a very unlucky sewer work in Bangladesh, who has to actually dive down into the bacteria-infested dirty water to fix leaks and other problems. Worst. Job. Ever.

There’s so much wrong with this picture. This guy looks pretty tough, almost like he belongs in an action movie alongside Sylvester Stallone and Jean-Claude Van Damme, but he’s putting himself in very real danger by dangling his leg underneath the huge hunk of rock he’s trying to drill out.

There are some golden rules in life that we all tend to learn very quickly. Don’t play with fire. Don’t mix water and electricity. Don’t dive headfirst into giant crushing machines. This guy didn’t get the memo.

This guy must be training up for a job in the circus and just doing some supermarket work on the side! How else could he think that this is a normal way to reach the top shelf?

This picture sums up so many of the men throughout this list. The sign literally says “Think Safety, Work Safely” on it and the guy is balancing on top to drill something in.

Maybe these guys just wanted a swim or maybe they were feeling like mermaids that day. There’s no other explanation we can find for why they’d want to pry open this door, knowing that 250 tons of water was waiting behind it.

What a hero this guy is, lending his back to his buddy so they can finish the job. Now that’s what we call teamwork! It’s going to hurt in the morning though.

At least this guy went to the trouble of attaching a safety wire to his pants, just in case he falls. There’s only one problem. The line is so slack, it’s not providing any safety whatsoever!

Wow! Hygiene violation! We hope nobody had to eat those fish later on or got tricked into buying one after this guy was spotting standing all over them. They must make a pretty slippery surface too.

So this guy wanted to buy a door. And instead of getting it shipped to his house or renting a van, he decided to just cram it into his car and drive all the way home. Like this. With the door over his head. We hope he didn’t get brake checked on the way back!

One of the golden rules while driving a motorcycle is to always wear a helmet, as well as any other necessary safety gear and accessories. At least this guy is trying, while his friends are wearing no safety equipment at all, but that big piece of plastic pipe probably won’t help him too much in an accident.

So here we have a man standing on a ladder being held by a ladder being held by a guy on a ladder. And we can’t even see the bottom of the scene! Maybe there are three more ladders and five more guys down there too.

It takes a special kind of courage to do things like this. Did we say courage? We meant stupidity.

To be honest, this is exactly what this dude deserves for thinking it would be funny to try and blow up a firework while standing right next to it.

Rule Number One of any gas station: no fire. No fire of any form! This guy must not have read the rulebook, holding an actual blowtorch right next to the gas pump while two other guys stand there casually.

This guy wanted to look too cool for school, firing off those fireworks while gliding over the water. In the end, nothing went wrong for him, but this could easily have turned into a major disaster.

What is this guy even thinking? Just sitting back casually, trying to drive his bike using nothing but his feet. Maybe he doesn’t care about his own safety, but he should at least have some respect for other road users.

Either this guy is totally fearless or just crazy! Or maybe a bit of both. How can you think it’s safe to work in there with a giant machine right over your head, capable of crushing you in an instant?!

This guy was spotted digging around in a manhole on a busy 4-lane road. He had no cones or signs to let cars know he was there. All he had was an orange vest!

The first thing that scares us about this picture is the sight of all those sparks, but when you look a little closer, you see the guy’s left hand is literally right by the spinning saw blade!

We’ve got two terrible examples of unsafe driving in this image. First, the obvious one: a guy holding up a huge piece of sheet metal on a simple scooter, blocking off all visibility for the poor person driving it. Then, over on the left, we can see a truck with one of its doors open and no form of protection keeping the cargo inside.

When a ladder isn’t long enough, you find one that is! You don’t just pick it up and hold it in place like that.

So we’ve got alcohol, we’ve got sparks, we’ve got a guy without any kind of eye protection or even gloves on his hands. Wow, there’s a lot of bad signs in this image.

We saw a human table earlier on the list, but this one is even worse! The ‘table’ in question is balancing right on the top of a ladder, with another guy balancing on his back. It would only take one little movement for the whole thing to fall.

Honestly, we look at this image and think that even though the guy lost a bunch of his beard, he actually escaped pretty nicely in the end! People have been killed from getting their hair caught up in machines like this before.

We’re feeling nervous just looking at this one! That’s a wood chipper. A wood *chipper*! You do not climb into one of those things. Ever. Even if you lose your wedding ring in there, just leave it.

Once more, we have some innovative workers coming up with creative ways to use ladders like they were never supposed to be used! It’s funny that they have a fourth ladder just sitting there on the ground, doing nothing in particular.

Okay, we get it. You’re in a rush. You’ve got a hot date and you need to be out of the door in five minutes. But that is no excuse for using an iron on your clothes while you’re actually wearing them! Those things can melt skin!

Maybe this guy just got bored at work one day and decided he wanted to go for a ride in the cement mixer. Maybe he lost something in there and was trying to find it. Either way, it’s a dumb idea.

So much wrong here! The whole parking lot is flooded, but this suited man still wants to try and mess around with the plug on his electric car. He’s balancing on a couple of petrol cans to avoid touching the water!

Well, that’s one way to try and get a sofa into a building, but it really doesn’t look like it’s going to fit. And what is that guy with the crutch doing?

This guy should just become Spider-Man instead of spending his days fitting bulbs and fixing lights! Look at that pose!

If you look up ‘insanity’ in the dictionary, there should be a picture of this guy! This is totally crazy. He’s balancing on those two little beams, legs stretched apart, without any kind of harness or rope or safety gear whatsoever. And he’s so high up.

It looks like whoever was in charge of health and safety at this construction site took the day off, so the guys thought it would be fun to make their own bungee jump.

This genuinely looks like it could be a scene from Mission Impossible or some other major action franchise! The guy has his back to the explosions and then plummets down as the building crumbles around him. We hope he made it out alive.

A forklift on a forklift? Well, at least it’s innovative! It seems terribly dangerous though. We wouldn’t want to be the driver of that second forklift.

What could possibly go wrong here? Well, just about everything! Surely there must have been a way to take the trampoline apart and transport it piece by piece!

This Bobcat driver is just trying to show off and he’s clearly got some crazy skills to be able to roll along like that, but should you really be pulling tricks and stunts in such a big and heavy vehicle?

We’ve seen some unique uses of ladders throughout this slideshow, and now here’s a totally different type of ladder! These guys all got on each other’s backs to form a human ladder, just so that one of them could spray paint something on the underside of this overpass.

This guy might need to get a new leg if he carries on like that. How could you possibly do this and not realize how dangerous and dumb it is?

Ever wondered how the sidewalk gets painted? Well, this is how it happens when a bunch of lazy guys are given the job.

This guy really wanted to take a break and have a little nap, but he didn’t want his boss to catch him, so this is what he did. We hope he’s not the sort of person who tosses and turns in their sleep.

Here we can see a perfect example of why women live longer than men. The lady here has come prepared, with a proper life jacket to stay afloat while swimming in the sea. The guy, however, decided to improvise, making his own buoyancy device using nothing but empty soda bottles.

The story here is that a guy was on vacation in Egypt and had a problem with the toilet. He called a local plumber, and when the plumber turned up, he just dived right out of the window without any safety gear to fix the issue.

It seems like the two people who planned this couch-moving operation have reached a bit of an impasse. If the guy at the top lets go, his buddy is about to be squashed, but the guy on the bottom can’t move either. We wonder how they managed to survive this!

Some guy thought it was smart to climb all over this roof, after it had been snowing, but quickly found himself falling down. We can see the handprints where he did his best to hold on.

This is the very definition of a job with hazards! The guy is doing the splits and dangling onto a piece of rebar while trying to do his job. There’s so much that could go wrong here.
