When was the last time you looked at an old picture of yourself? And by old, I mean a picture of your prepubescent self.

How well did you transition through those dark years? Di you come out on the other side as a much different version of yourself? Or just a slightly older looking version of yourself?

Some people have amazing transitions either naturally or surgically.

Here are 70 people who have shared their before and after pictures on TikTok.

1. Out of the park

Puberty hit him into a whole new universe! He’s an entirely different person—or at least he looks like one.

Would love to know what the trophy is for. Too bad she’s lost that great smile though.

His jaw line that is. It’s amazing the change’s losing baby fat brings about.

I bet this lovely lady has more strength in her baby finger that most of us have. Love the hair.

There are some things are faces seem to lose as we transition through puberty. I’m happy to note he still has that smile!

Clearly this transition had a bit more than puberty behind it. But looking good!

8. Mom doesn’t change

Beloved daughter grew up and slimmed down. Dad seems to have found the pounds she lost, though.

This is aging well. And honestly, he hasn’t changed that much. He just grew into his face.

He probably ate enough for 3 people as a young boy, yet he looks like he’s on the verge of starvation. He either finally gained some muscle or learned photoshop.

Does your skin tone change with puberty? You know, go from pink tones to olive? Somehow, I don’t think so.

At first I wondered if she was trans, but she says no. She just had a really bad haircut as a kid! Regardless, she is gorgeous.

Despite the incredible difference, you can see him. Take a moment, look at the shape of his face. It hasn’t really changed, it’s just lost the fat.

That’s what she needs. A personal shopper. And no, she’s not trans. She is—and identifies as female. But she’s a body builder who doesn’t seem to realize she needs to update her wardrobe along with her muscles.

That hasn’t changed. She was a lovely young girl with a beautiful smile. Which she still has. And I’m jealous of her hair.

He’s filled out a bit. I don’t think too many years have passed between pics, but he’s definitely matured.

Yeah, I’m joking. Unless she was already plucking them as a pre-teen. She as amazing eyes, and the same baggage under them in each pic.

Not going to lie. I think she looks amazing as young her, all natural and no makeup. But she grew into a gorgeous woman.

When you look amazing no matter what sex you are. Kind of makes you want to hate them. But, come on. Pull those pants up.

Remember those stupid little sperm eyebrows? So glad they are a thing of the past. And glad that slimmer face allows to see those amazing eyes much better!

Honestly, he didn’t have an incredible transition through puberty. He was a good looking kid who became a good looking young man. Love the new hair cut though!

There are people who believe she had a ton of work done. There are people who are delusional. Same eyes. Same nose. The braces did their job. She just grew into her face and learned how to apply makeup.

Am I the only one who sees a different nose? Not that it matters. And love the dimpled chin!

Hard to tell how much she changed. We can see the weight loss. And it looks like she has that whole “I wanna be a Kardashian” madness going on.

Love the glasses! And I bet she hated having her pic taken when she was a kid. Maybe that’s the reason for the death stare.

What on earth is she wearing in the before picture? That probably drove her to the Goth look, which is an improvement, IMO.

So cute and candid. While the second looks like it’s been filtered to death. There is something odd about the shape of her face.

The hair, I mean. I have super curly hair. If I went for a bright color like that I would look like a clown.

I think he looks sad and lost in both pics. And I don’t think the blond hair does him any favors.

Her hair has a lovely pink glow. And judging from the first pic she’s 7 or eight. Certainly not a tween on the cusp of puberty.

Maybe it’s just the angles and the lighting. But she looks like a different person. I don’t see the same lips and eyes.

Probably not the best picture to choose as a after. Who can see his face? Cute little guy, though.

This is Mattie Westbrouk from TikTok. And I’m really not sure on gender. But there’s a good chance the transition here was more than just puberty hitting.

Definitely a change in the face. Mostly because all you can see is a reflection in the giant glasses that cover her face.

I know all about frizz. She happy she learned to tame it into a great style.

This change had absolutely nothing to do with puberty. It’s all about a crap ton of makeup and a new hair stylist.

Hard to tell if it’s the same person in each picture. Until you check out the ears. I’d say they’re definitely the same.

People often don’t realize how much a hair style can change the appearance of the face. I’d say this is a perfect example.

48. Lip injections?

I just can’t get over how many of these people look like they’ve had lip injections done. She certainly does. And I wish both shots were straight on.

First, that’s a terrible angle to take a selfie. Second, I’m glad he decided to stop cutting off the curls.

Is she deliberately trying to look like Harley Quinn? Hopefully this is just some cosplay, not her everyday look. Those nails are frightening.

It’s always incredibly unfair when a guy gets such thick, lush lashes. And we have to go buy extensions.

I’m trying to decide if this is another Harley Quinn attempt. Or if those are real abrasions on her face.

All round. And the round glasses just accentuate it. The bangs are cute on her mini version, but I’m loving the new style.

She had awesome hair as a kid, and she has awesome hair still. Looks like she still has the type of cheeks you just want to give a pinch.

I guess growing up is hard on everyone these days. So many of these kids had such great smiles. Now it seems they have nothing to smile about.

With the hat pulled down and the reflection in her glasses, it’s hard to see her features. I wouldn’t say she’s changed that much, except maybe her face isn’t as round.

Again, this is hardly a transition from tween through puberty. I’d love to see her at 12 years of age.

She didn’t change all that much. Same bright, open smile. Beautiful girl.

See the difference 3 years can make from as we transition through puberty. Baby fat gone, and a man bod in the making.

The different angle does make her face look different, but I don’t think she’s changed that much. The angle, the lighting, and the makeup make the difference. Either way, she’s beautiful.

I just had a Michael Jackson flash back. I’m sure this is just a trick of the lighting though, making his complexion so much lighter. Maybe.

I have to say I have a thing for dark hair, and dark, thick lashed eyes. He is gorgeous. And what a change.
