This 65-year-old DJ brings down the house on Britain’s Got Talent! Can you believe she’s 65?
A 65-year-old former nurse, Christine Tew, followed her love of music when she retired 5-years-ago. Since then, she’s been doing these epic sets as a DJ with the stage name “Dizzy Twilight.”
“I have been doing this act since I’ve retired but my love of music I’ve had since a little girl. Through my childhood ad growing up years, I remember my father playing the piano and I was part of an orchestra.” Christine told Britain’s Got Talent.
The crowd never expected what happened next. They wheeled out a DJ booth from the back and the set began!
The crowd gasped and cheered when Christine told them her age. They never expected her to strip to a flashy outfit that was hiding under her plain clothes and energetically rock the house with a DJ set.
She is in her element, with the energy of the crowd going through the roof, she’s one great DJ! When the set first starts, A robotic sounding voice says “eat, sleep, rave, repeat” over the electronic style music she’s spinning.
The judges’ are floored as she perfectly blends the fast paced music and bounces on her feet like a 17-year-old girl!
Her energy is incredible, the way she bounces on her feet to the music, you would never believe she’s a 65-year-old lady. She and the crowd are going wild to the Techno style music that’s blaring through the speakers.
She goes through various pieces of different popular songs and voices that she’s pieced together, making it a DJ Dizzy Twilight track!
To end it, DJ Dizzy Twilight breaks it into a slow song in which the judges start slow dancing to and it’s hilarious!
The brilliant 65-year-old DJ suddenly slows the music down from the fast-paced EDM to a slow sensual, oldies love song. She gets the whole crowd waving, then, the judges actually lock body’s and start slow dancing! Watch the video at the bottom to see Simon Cowell hilariously slow dancing!
It’s clear this 65-year-old DJ is doing exactly what she’s supposed to be, and all the judges’ thought the same.
All four judges quickly voted yes for Dj Dizzy to make through! It was apparent that they all thoroughly enjoyed the set, Simon Cowell said:
“Oh my god Christine, I thought we were gonna get like, The Hills Are Alive or the Sound of Music or something. You’re are a little minx aren’t you?” He followed that by saying: “I think this show is all about finding people who are interesting or different, and that’s why you have four yes’s.”
