This man did but managed to find two good-natured officers of the law to bring him home.

They left him and his belongings there safely, but not without leaving him a little reminder of the night before.

The good samaritan kindly turned it into lost and found but not before making sure the owner knows who the real hero is.

A Redditor explained:

“We went parasailing yesterday and asked someone on the boat to take photos of us. We found this on our camera.”

Someone has a sick sense of humor!

Well, it sounds like this “gentleman” deserved the wake-up call.

“We work at a bar, after closing down (at 4am) we walked out to find this guy; pants down, passed out. We took a picture and then took one on his phone for him. (We also woke him up and put him in a cab) but at least he got a pic when he woke up.”

This car owner installed an iPad on his dash and when he went to the carwash one of the attendants couldn’t help but leave this on his camera roll.

The phone inside contained some fun-loving photos of the purse having a great time without her.

We’re pretty sure that coworker is going to postpone his next appointment for a cleaning!

This person managed to lose their phone inside a chicken coop and found this photo on the camera roll later.

It looks like social media really has corrupted us all!

They even posted the photo to Facebook to let her know where to find it!

(Now think about the implications of someone less trustworthy finding your unlocked phone and posting to your social media – yikes!)

“Just got this picture in a text from my husband’s phone. He’s the one sleeping. I don’t know that other guy.”

We don’t know him either, but we’d like to be his friend!

In the morning, he was holding his phone and this photo popped up.

We’re not sure what happened here, but it sure looks like he was annoying Batman.

Looks like this dog was ready to get revenge against it for getting all the attention. Alas, he was caught in the act.

He didn’t return it, but thanks to his bad thieving skills he did take a lot of photos with it that she was then able to download from the Cloud.

Afterward, she set about reenacting them with a fake mustache on her Tumblr account, which is epic in its own right.

Looks like it made the rounds among airport employees with a mischevious sense of humor.

There was no proof that she intended to keep it, although she was happy to at least take some photos for the owner before he came to fetch it.

No doubt this young man feels like he dodged a bullet when they didn’t snoop through his photos.

We’re not sure how she guessed, but she seemed pretty confident about IDing the thief.

Not only did they turn in the phone but left a little note (and then some) with a kind messge for the owner.

Maybe it belongs to the one baby animal whose owners don’t take a million photos and this little one was feeling unappreciated.

Nah.

We’d say those are some world-class selfie-ing skills and would be happy to leave our phone in his capable paws.

They returned it along with their best beach selfie.

It played ping pong, got a workout in, and hung out with the team while it waited for its owner.

This phone had a more productive day than most of us!

Luckily, some fans found it and showed their love through the lens while they were at it.

Jones also took a selfie with them when he got it back.

We’re not sure if they stole this from a tourist in Thailand or just came across one someone dropped, but it looks like they got a surprise when they looked at their photos in the cloud.

Luckily, this one just took an adorable selfie.

To be fair, it would be hard to steal while they were taking naughty photos with it.

But plot twist: The person who lost this phone and got it back at the party later had no idea who these folks were.

Maybe it’s a really big company?

We assume he got his phone back eventually – or else someone got fired.

Oh, wait, yes we can: the phone owner had literally no clue whose cat this was.

When your grandma and aunt figure out how to use your phone, things could go a lot worse.

We simply have no explanation for this.

After the phone’s owner blacked out at a party (not recommended, by the way), he found a picture of a total stranger looking like this in his photos.

He’s lucky that’s the worst thing that happened!

While it looks pretty epic it didn’t take long for his friend to comment: “(Unpictured) friend, here. He played ‘New York, New York’ and he did not play it well.”

Ouch.

Well, the ladies seemed to be enjoying it.

We’re not sure if this took place in Madagascar or a zoo or what, but we don’t need answers, just more photos!

And it looks like we might get more because this person isn’t getting their phone back without a fight.

Ok then! Guess that explains everything.

We can’t tell you how many photos we’ve deleted of ourselves looking exactly like this, chins and all.

“My friend and I got drunk the other night & found this on my friend’s phone the next day.”

We doubt this will teach them a lesson about anything but it is a most excellent photo!
