Have you ever been out and about when you spot someone you just know is famous? You want to go up to them so bad to say hi but something seems a little bit off. Well, it could be the person you thought was a celebrity is in fact, an individual who likes one.
Some knockoffs look so much like real celebrities, as people flock around them, they graciously hand out autographs. Those individuals walk away thinking they just met someone famous. Then there are knockoffs that come close but don’t quite make it. Finally, some are eerily similar yet you know they’re not who you think they are.
These 60 knockoff celeb versions are interesting, to say the least.
1. Cast of Friends – more like acquaintances
At a quick glance, you’d probably think this was the cast of Friends. But when you get a better look, you realize they’re more like acquaintances. Even though they’re not the real deal, a few of them come pretty close.
2. Danny DeVito – 2rong ethnicity
If Danny DeVito were of Asian descent, he’d look just like this guy. Not only is the hairline, nose, and glasses spot-on, but that smirk…he nailed it.
3. Jimmy Fallon – spitting image
This guy decided to stand next to a wax figure of Jimmy Fallon. But here’s the deal…he looks more like the real Jimmy. If you were to put the two side-by-side and have people guess which one was the celebrity, we’re guessing a lot of them would choose the wrong one.
One woman thinks her brother strongly resembles the agent from “Bolt” and we have to agree. If not, he might want to contact a lawyer about identify theft. Just saying.
5. Bernie Sanders/Larry David – a lot of confusion
From the message on this man’s shirt, he must get confused a lot for being Bernie Sanders. He’s also confused with Larry David the comedian. But who knows, we think that shirt is kind of funny so maybe it’s a coverup.
6. Nicolas Cage – the female version
See the girl in the back? Now pretend she’s a guy who’s not wearing a bikini and doesn’t have long hair. If you focus solely on the face, you can see a striking resemblance to actor Nicolas Cage.
7. Donald Trump – the hair has it
Okay, so people wouldn’t really think this is President Trump. After all, this is a woman. But you have to admit, that hair looks awfully familiar. We’ll just call her Donna.
8. Mr. Bean – perhaps pushing it
No, Mr. Bean and this man don’t look that much alike yet the first person you think of when you see this photo is, Mr. Bean. That’s ironic. The only question — does he talk?
9. Donald Trump – that’s interesting
Until this person put a photo of England’s Prime Minister against the US President, you never knew they both had sweeping blond hair, shared the same facial expressions, and pointed their fingers. If you squint, you can kind of see it.
10. Freddie Kreuger – at 80
For anyone who ever wondered what Freddie Kreuger would look like as a senior citizen, this is probably about as close as it’ll get. We think it’s more the shirt than the face. He looks like a nice person although we can’t see his hands.
11. Abraham Lincoln – he’s alive
Not only is he alive but he’s also put on a little bit of weight. Of course, we all know this isn’t really the former President but he’d be perfect at portraying him in a reenactment.
12. Jeff Goldblum – is that you dad?
The man in the leather jacket is the real Jeff Goldblum while the other guy thinks they look a lot alike. We see a slight resemblance but probably not enough for him to call this actor “dad.”
13. Shrek – in human form
This is both cool and creepy. Although this man doesn’t have the same green skin as Shrek, other than that, they could almost be identical twins. He probably wonders why this lady with the phone is staring at him.
14. Adolph Hitler – working out
No, of course, that’s not Adolph Hitler. But don’t you wonder why anyone would sport a mustache that makes them look even a little bit like him? We suggest this guy go with a different style.
15. Keanu Reeves – close but no cigar
There might be a small similarity in the eyes but let’s be honest, there’s only one Keanu Reeves and this guy isn’t him. There’s no way to look as hot as the real actor.
16. Jake Gyllenhaal – we see it
A little bit shorter hair and a few less wrinkles around the eyes and we can see how some people could mistake this man for Jake Gyllenhaal. They both have a certain swag about them.
17. Kayne West – looks about right
Although Kayne West isn’t the tallest person, standing at 5’8”, this guy in the red shirt appears to have a much smaller statute. But there is something about his face that might confuse a few people…maybe.
18. Elijah Wood – nice try
Elijah Wood is known for his great acting skills and his dreamy eyes. Sure, this girl has pretty eyes but they don’t compare. Good try though.
19. Will Smith – dead ringer
We’re impressed, This man looks so much like the real Will Smith, he probably has people flock around him wherever he goes. If the actor ever needs a double, this is who he should call.
20. Robert Downey, Jr. – pretty good
While this man looks a little rougher around the edges than Robert Downey, Jr., he could still pass for the Iron Man actor…sort of. At least we’re pretty sure he gets a few second glances.
21. Barack Obama – shopping at Walmart?
That’d be unusual. Even former Presidents often have security all around them. So, seeing Barack Obama shopping at the local Walmart is highly unlikely.
22. Tyrion Lannister – I’m a believer
Okay, this guy looks a lot like the actor, Tyrion Lannister. If I saw him, I’d probably think he was the real deal. We’re not sure why he’s dressed like that but it’s convincing.
23. Arnold Schwarzenegger – is it or isn’t it?
Wow, if this isn’t Arnold Schwarzenegger, we’ll be shocked. From head to toe, he looks just like him. But then again, looks can be deceiving.
24. Elon Musk – at it again
If you know anything about this man, it’s that he’s always inventing and reinventing. So, coming up with a new way to eat corn on the cob wouldn’t be too far of a stretch. But, this guy’s not that close in resemblance.
25. Vin Diesel – baby faced
If we went back in time and saw this baby, we’d probably think it was Vin Diesel way before he became a big star. We’d love to compare one of his actual baby photos.
26. Emma Stone – sans makeup
As a successful actress, most people are used to seeing Emma Stone all dolled up. So, if they saw this woman without makeup, they might think its her…just without makeup. She does have the same youthful face.
27. Vladimir Putin – hilarious
Who’d ever expect to see the President of Russia’s face formed in angus beef? But that’s what it looks like. Every detail is incredibly close. That’s kind of scary.
28. Conan O’Brien – just chilling on a bus
Somehow, we can’t imagine seeing a famous comedian and television personality riding a subway. We bet this guy’s probably had his fair share of stares from questioning minds.
29. Vincent Van Gogh – him too?
Seeing Conan on a subway is strange enough but Van Gogh? This man looks amazingly like the famous artist. Even though Van Gogh is dead, we wonder how many people still look at this man’s ears.
30. Adam Sandler – seeing double
This is bizarre. The real Adam Sandler found his twin on social media. Their likeness is so uncanny, Sandler invited the guy to his film premiere. Here’s proof.
31. Bobby – the real King of the Hill
Looking at this kid, there’s a chance Bobby from King of the Hill was created in his likeness. Okay, probably not but you have to wonder if people teasingly call him “Bobby.”
32. Robert Downey, Jr. – double take
If you thought the other guy resembled Robert Downey’s Jr., check out this man. He has a definite “Tony Stark” look that could easily confuse fans.
33. Morgan Freeman – a little worse for the wear
Although this man looks a lot like this famous actor, it’s not too hard to tell the difference. This guy seems like he’s had somewhat of a hard life. Then again, maybe he’s just tired.
34. Amy Schumer – “calm down”
This woman became famous after a mild road rage incident in which she kept telling the other driver to “calm down” She might have a slight resemblance to Schumer but Amy is far more beautiful.
35. Bruce Willis – not so diehard
Yes, this man looks quite a bit like Bruce Willis but he’s missing the actor’s edge. Known for his tough guy roles, people would quickly realize it’s not him.
36. Albert Einstein – pondering
What makes this photo cool is that not only does this man resemble Albert Einstein but the way he’s posed, it looks as though he’s in deep thought.
37. Wesley Snipes aka Blade – is it the hair?
Look, this guy might have the same hairstyle as Snipes who plays Blade in the superhero movie but there’ll never be another actor like this. Snipes is super cool and this guy, lukewarm. Sorry but he’s not fooling anyone.
38. Hannibal Lector – no comparison
Anthony Hopkins played the infamous Hannibal Lector in the movie Silence of the Lambs. From a distance, we can see some similarities between this actor and this woman. Just imagine your grandma looking like this character…yikes.
39. Samuel Jackson – stretching things
Even without her long hair, we just can’t see how anyone would confuse Samuel Jackson with this Walmart employee. But then again, stranger things have happened.
40. Donald Trump – here’s another one…kind of
When looking at this guy, it’s hard to see much of a similarity with Trump. But in a posted video of him, the two have a lot of the same mannerism. Everyone knows it’s not the President but he’s still fun to watch.
Although Stan Lee is a successful comic book writer, producer, and editor, he’s not out and about much. So, there’s a possibility that people might think this guy is the real Lee. We can see how that could happen.
42. Lightning McQueen – it’s real
Many years back, the movie Cars was a huge box office hit. In it, the main character was a red racecar named Lightning McQueen. Come to find out, it’s real. See, it even has teeth.

43. Joaquin Phoenix – if they say so
While some people think this guy resembles Joaquin Phoenix, we’re not so sure. Perhaps from the right angle. But we don’t think this man has to worry about anyone rushing him for an autograph any time soon.
44. The Avengers – pretty cool
Similar to the Friends montage, a few of these people look pretty close to the real actors. But others miss the mark.
45. Kayne West – round two
This television reporter looks even more like Kayne West. If we saw him on TV, we’d probably take a second look. This is pretty close.
46. Marshall Mathers aka Eminem – darn close
This guy looks quite a bit like Eminem but we bet if he had a hat on, the resemblance would be even better. It’s enough he probably gets asked his name from time to time.
47. Keanu Reeves as John Wick – from a distance
While we can see some likeness, from a distance this man looks even more like Keanu Reeves playing the John Wick character. We just wonder if he’s as tough.
48. Steve Mnuchin – in drag
This is kind of funny. If you put a wig on Mnuchin, a little red lipstick, and a cigarette in his hand…we can see it. Let’s just hope he never shows up at the White House like this.
49. Drake – where’s the smile?
The best way to tell a bogus Drake from the real one is to see the smile. Besides, we highly doubt the real Drake would ever use a pen with a yellow flower top.
50. Robert Downey, Jr. – yet again
It seems as though a lot of people resemble the Iron Man star…this guy included. Still, the light hair and bedraggled look are a dead giveaway it’s not him. Nice try though.
51. Ed Sheeran – this is spooky
What do you want to bet Ed Sheeran’s mom has a photo that looks just like this? If Hollywood ever does a story on this singer’s life, this little boy is a perfect choice to play his young self.
52. Bernie Sanders – as a bird
Whether you’re a Republican or Democrat, you have to laugh. The tufts of hair on each side of this bird’s head is about as good as it gets. And that expression isn’t bad either.
53. Ryan Reynolds – no, no, no
Some people swear they see a resemblance between this man and Ryan Reynolds. But let’s be honest, no one is as sexy as Ryan so we give this one a thumb’s down.
54. Morgan Freeman – round two
That’s more like it. Not only does this man look a lot like Morgan Freeman but he has the same incredible smile. So, people probably ask him for a photo relatively often.
55. Barack Obama – South of the border
While this guy is quite a bit younger than the real Barack Obama, there is some definite likeness. We wonder if these people thought this was the former President dressed in costume. We’ll never know.
56. Elon Musk – a female teen
If Elon Musk was a teen girl, this is what he’d look like. Seriously, remove the hair and the face looks pretty much the same. We think it’s the eyes since we know the real Elon doesn’t have lip piercings.
57. Donald Trump – working in the fields
Because of the strong resemblance to Donald Trump, this photo has been circulated around the internet for a long time. And we have to admit, we can see why.
58. Alfonso Ribeiro – do you see it?
Although Alfonso has more chocolate-colored skin, there’s something about this man’s face. The longer you look at it the more he looks like Ribeiro.
59. Barack Obama – man, he’s busy
First you see a man shopping Walmart that looks like the former President and then one in Mexico. Here’s yet another one checking out social media sites. Will the real Barack Obama please stand up?
60. Hugh Jackman – from another mother…and father
Okay, this guy does have the same haircut and beard as Wolverine but as far as we can see, that’s where any likeness ends.
