Celebrity encounters happen every day. And while some are happy and exciting, other encounters go horribly wrong and are downright embarrassing. We recently searched Twitter for celebrity chance meetings and found plenty of awkward and uncomfortable encounters.

But, first, let me quickly share my own embarrassing celebrity encounter. It was during the late 1980s, and I was working at a Pepsi stand at Knott’s Berry Farm. I was at the cash register awaiting my next customer when a bee started buzzing around my head. As I began jumping around and squealing in fear, the bee landed on a Pepsi cup dispenser in front of me. I quickly grabbed a cup and put it over the bee, successfully capturing it.

As I calmed myself down, I noticed someone standing at the window waiting to be served a drink. It was Tina Yothers, who played Jennifer Keaton on the hit 1980’s TV series “Family Ties.” I proceeded to explain why I was acting like a fool. She was very kind not to laugh or make fun of me, but the unfortunate incident was forever ingrained in my brain. I later let the bee go.
