We’ve all heard the saying “there is power in numbers,” and it’s so true. Whether it’s music, marching for a cause, or virtually anything else, we’re more powerful when we come together with other people. That’s exactly why you can feel the immense power of this performance. When these 5000 children all sing the same song, it makes for something magical and has the audience completely captivated.

These 5,000 choir kids sing ‘What About Us’ by Pink in a breathtaking display of unity and talent
Last summer at London’s SSE Arena, Wembley, these kids’ sung a spectacular version of the popular song, with the hand gestures and body movements to go along. They absolutely owned this, what a jaw-dropping performance.
At the beginning of the video, the camera zooms in on one girl as she starts singing the first part of ‘What About Us.’ Her beautiful voice radiates throughout the arena while the rest of the kids dance behind her.
That’s when the rest of the kids join in, the sheer power of all 5,000 voices together is stunning
With a select few of the older kids down low holding their own microphones, the younger kids pack the stands in a sea of white shirts moving about. When the chorus is over, one of the girls with a microphone starts singing a sensational solo.
Only a certain amount of kids could fit on to the stage, so the rest are in the stands waiting for their cue. When it’s time for them to sing again, they come in roaring a wonderous tone as one. They repeat the catchy chorus together:
“What about us? What about all the times you said you had the answers? What about us? What about all the other broken ever afters? What about us? What about all the plans that ended in disaster? What about love? What about trust? What about us?

Each solo brings about another gifted singer, as the other talented kids do choreography in the back round. Throughout the whole performance, the 5,000 person choir flawlessly nails it.
Hearing this many voices together does something for your soul, it permeates through the famous SSE Arena leaving the onlookers speechless.
At the end of the song, they sing in unison one last time, giving it their all and then some
I’ve never heard anything like this, the way all their voices blend to make one massive harmony is profound. Pink must have lost her mind with gratitude for these kids! Not that it isn’t special already, but they made her song something incredibly special with this performance.
