Many trees just go through life as one of a bunch. Or I guess the right term in one of a copse. But some are unique with interesting stories to tell.

Some seem to be trying to achieve something but are failing miserably. Some are weird and hilarious. Some seem to be taking revenge.

Here are 50 trees that have an interesting story to share.

1. RBF

Have you heard of RBF? It stands for resting bitch face and means facial expression that unintentionally reveals some negative emotion. This tree sucks at masking it.

2. We can see you

Is this tree trying to sneakily slip into the water? If so, it really needs to do a better job at being sneaky.

3. Couldn’t you hold it?

Remember when you were a kid and your parents made you go pee before you got in the car? Even when you didn’t have to go. Maybe this tree didn’t listen and couldn’t hold it anymore.

4. No water retention here!

Actually, I would just love an explanation of what’s really happening here. How is that even happening? Is there a natural pump of some sort in that tree? Regardless, it sucks at holding its water.

5. Tamp it down

Sometimes its hard to keep the blaze of your anger inside. This tree really sucks at keeping its anger in check, doesn’t it?

6. Close the gate behind you

Maybe this tree didn’t get that memo? Or someone forgot to oil the hinges? Because this tree sucks at being a proper gateway.

7. Is this proper form?

You know how they say it’s important to use proper form when you exercise? If this tree is trying to do bench press, it really sucks at it.

8. Share this space

Remember when your mom told you you had to share. There was a whole lot of equal opportunity going on when it came to toys. This tree didn’t get the memo and clearly sucks at sharing.

9. Keep away from edge

Someone felt the didn’t need to obey the rules. And now looks what’s happened. It’s growing both sideways and upwards.

10. That’s horrifying

This tree clearly sucks at clotting quickly. It looks like it’s bleeding to death. But it’s a bloodwood tree and that is perfectly normal. Gag.

11. Danger! Danger!

I guess the probable reactions to danger should be flight, fight, or freeze. This tree clearly sucks at fight or flight. It just froze and let danger set in.

12. No modesty

This wannabe tree sucks at being modest. Seriously, it looks like it got caught in a freeze frame while twerking.

13. You can’t see me!

Trees are very excellent places to hide behind. Most trees. This tree sucks as a hiding spot.

14. Always wanted to fit in

One of these trees is not like the other. If the object of that tree was to fit in with the rest of the landscape, it sucks at its job.

15. Parking violation

While there’s a very good chance this tree is going to cause an issue with hooking up a fire hose, maybe not. Will it get a ticket if it does?

16. Put that away!

Well, this is just rude. I guess trees suck at hiding these sorts of things. But I really want to say, “just keep that in your trunks.”

17. Life is so confusing

Although I get it. I live somewhere were we get 4 distinct seasons, and it can seem as though they change from one day to the next. But this tree sucks at picking a season.

18. Such poor aim

If this tree was aiming for that car, it sucks. The flipside is it did a really good job about missing that car, and I bet the owner was very happy.

19. Such a lonely life

This tree sucks at making friends. Several trees together can form a protective barrier, even protecting themselves. This guy is on his own.

20. Fire’s out

This tree is clearly a dragon. The best dragons breathe fire. Someone needs to fire this non-fire-breathing creature.

21. Rebellious

I’m not sure, but I think this is some sort of contraption that helps the tree grow straight. It’s a guide, per se. If so, this tree sucks at following direction.

22. No respect

Poor William. A headstone was lovingly provided and look what happened. This tree shows no respect.

23. Ahh, what a face

Is this tree trying to be scary and ugly? If so, it’s doing a sucky job at it. I think this face is kind of cute.

24. No self-control

This tree clearly has an eating disorder. As in it will eat whatever is in its path. It really sucks at controlling itself.

25. Fire in the hole

This tree just couldn’t hold it together. It doesn’t look like a direct hit, but still, it blew up.

26. You may not pass

Well, these trees really suck when it comes to letting you pass. Or letting you back up again, for that matter.

27. Against campus rules

And those rules are you need a permit if you are going to park. I would say that tree has parked itself there quite permanently.

28. This tree failed

There is an internet challenge called the floor is lava. You guessed it, you have to pretend the floor is burning hot and not walk on it. This tree looks like it failed getting away from lava.

29. Just carry on

If this tree was trying to stop traffic, it did a really poor job. Look at those vehicles just carry right on their way.

30. No stopping her

Taking out the trash takes on a whole new meaning here. We just watched a tree try to take out those trash bins—but it seems to have failed.

31. A life of crime

Thieves need to hide the deed. But this thieving tree was way to obvious and sucked at getting away with theft.

32. I’m not letting you go

Ever had an ex that just won’t completely let go and move on with their lives and let you to yours? I think we have the tree version of not being able to let go right here.

33. A gorgeous tree

It’s beautiful, right? But it seems to have a problem with being in the ground. As it isn’t in the ground at all. Weird.

34. Yeah, you aren’t hiding

This tree is doing a really bad job at being an incognito cell tower. The trick is to blend in. This is not blending in.

35. I’m sorry. What?

Clearly it had a message to share. Probably an important message. It has failed at communicating it.

36. Restoration

You know how a lot of people like to restore old cars? This tree may have wanted to try, but I think that car is now incapacitated.

37. Wow

This tree clearly sucks at only one thing. It sucks at being monochromatic—and that’s a good thing! Look at that burst of color.

38. What a mess

If you don’t live in a place where you need to rake leaves in the fall, this probably looks amazing. And it is—as long as you aren’t the one raking. Because trees suck at cleaning up after themselves.

39. There are rules

The rule of gravity, for instance. It’s typically hard to get around, but this tree seems to suck at following the rules.

40. Timber!

Probably not the trees fault. I think someone is cutting that down, so the fault is there’s that this tree sucks at falling safely.

41. They can’t say no

If trees could say no, I bet they would be yelling it to the skies in this situation. Who wants goats all up in their business?

42. No respect

Newer generations are being taught how important it is to respect the environment. We need to live symbiotically. I guess this tree is to old to get that.

43. Time to change?

I wonder how long it’s been since laundry day. And I would love to see just how this tree manages to put on fresh panties.

44. There’s an unusual sight

How often do you see a tree sitting down on the job? For that matter, who knew it was even possible?

45. Not going down easy

This tree has some fight left in it. It looks dead inside, but it’s not going down without a fight.

46. Keep it under the rug

Wow. This tree wasn’t having any part of keeping things under the rug. Everything has been exposed now.

47. Revenge

Apparently some trees suck at not exacting it. Because this couldn’t have been planned better.

48. Circular

This tree seems to have a problem with growing tall and strong. Instead it seems to be growing round and round.

49. It’s my stick

This tree has no interest in sharing a stick. That dog is pretty determined that it wants that stick.

50. I will not go down easy

This is a strong and healthy tree. And it is not about to let someone steal its life without a fight
