We tend to think of our teachers as, well โ€” just teachers. We donโ€™t give much thought to their home or family lives, even if we know they have them. Sure, weโ€™ve become old enough to know they donโ€™t live at the school, the way we thought they did when we were kids! But itโ€™s still hard to think of them as people outside the context where we see them every day โ€” the classroom.

But teachers definitely have lives beyond the confines of the school and guess what, they have plenty of thoughts about their students. They get tired of grading papers. They worry about their studentsโ€™ home lives. And yes, they enjoy trolling you.

Can you blame them? The days when you think the lecture is boring and youโ€™re watching the clock, theyโ€™re probably doing the same thing! Theyโ€™re just older and have to be professional. But that doesnโ€™t mean they donโ€™t occasionally pull off a master trolling job.

They might play a role in our lives for only a short time, but that doesnโ€™t mean we wonโ€™t remember them. Maybe because they inspired us to follow our dreams or perhaps because they knew exactly how to troll us.
