Our bodies are amazing machines. And even if we don’t take good care of them, they often just keep doing what they were designed to do.
So much of what is going on is just happening in the background, and we’re not even aware of it. We just take it for granted that we’ll breathe in and out, our hearts will beat, and a whole lot of other fascinating things will continue to happen.

1. You’re drooling again
Every single day our mouths product about a quart of saliva. Over the course of our lives, each person produces enough saliva to fill two swimming pools.
