She said: “Grew up poor in a small town family of 10 and I’m a first-gen college student. I’ve made the top 10% of my class, I’m the VP and President-elect of the student body, and I landed an internship with Deloitte Consulting for the summer. All by myself and I’m only a junior. Happy is an understatement!”

5. Training goals
It’s hard to pick up and move, especially when you have a passion or hobby that isn’t terribly common and you don’t want to give it up. Half a year later and I’m smiling bigger than I ever have. I think I’ve found the one.” Sounds like relationship goals as well.
7. Confidence goals

Here’s to hope and new found self-confidence!”
8. College goals
It’s always heartwarming to see young people achieving their dreams, especially when they feel like they might not be good enough to pursue their passions. We think this Redditor was underestimating himself (and his GPA) since he just got into a great program. He says: “I spent the past four years in high school dedicated to robotics and spent everyday there about 1500hours. Now I got into UCSC for robotics engineering. My doctor warned me I need to stop soon, or I’ll die young. My battle with cancer, depression, and anxiety made me too scared to cook. Today I made 4 healthy meals for my week, and I was so proud I cried all day.” Sometimes all you need is proof that you can take the first step.
13. Acceptance goals
Some people go through more than the rest of us could ever imagine, so it’s such an inspiration to see them come out the other side of tough times with a great attitude.
