How much do you look like your parents? Some of us seem like perfect blends of both our moms and dads, while others seem to be almost carbon copies of one parent or the other. Then, there are the folks who look nothing like either one of their parents!
Either way, it’s always interesting to take a look at old photos of your parents from the past and compare their outfits and appearances to how you look at a similar age.
For Mother’s Day, a lot of girls and women decided to recreate some of their moms’ old photos, trying to capture the perfect pose, outfit, and expression to show off their similarities. Here are 50 of our favorites!

The hair length might be a little different, but this daughter has totally nailed her mama’s cool cowgirl look! The hat and denim shirt combo is a great fit for both of them.

Here’s one involving a brother imitating his father two! Both of these kids look just like their parents so decided to recreate this old photo. They covered every little detail, even the watch on the dad’s wrist.

This girl has totally got her mom’s moody pout down to perfection, and she even found some similar wallpaper for the background of her recreation photo. Nice job!

It’s astonishing how much this young girl looks just like her mother at a similar age, and she found a similarly beautiful balcony to pose on too.

This funny photo shows just how far we’ve come in terms of technology! The original mom is holding a big bulky phone to her ear, while her daughter sports a sleek and stylish smartphone.

This girl deserves her clout after posting these really impressive recreations! She’s perfectly copied her mom’s “holding a glass” pose and found a great dress to match the second photo too.

Many of the girls taking these recreated photos had to improvise and try to find similar outfits to their moms, but this girl was actually able to wear the exact same shirt, as her mom had held onto it for all those years.
