50 precious bernedoodles that look like stuffed teddy bears

Are you familiar with the cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle? They’re commonly known as Bernedoodles, but they’re also called the Bernese Mountain Poo.

I think I prefer Bernedoodle, don’t you?

They’re said to be clever, gentle, goofy, and loyal. And lets not forget incredibly cute. At least when they are puppies. If you have a full size one that grows to over 100 pounds, cute probably isn’t the right term.

They’re also intelligent and good with families. Not to mention they don’t shed or drool.

Sounds like the perfect dog to me.

1. Yes, I am perfect

Perfectly well behaved. This may look like a plush toy, but this is this puppy’s first time eating outdoors.

2. Am I seeing double?

Look at these two! And this was a chance meeting. They aren’t related. They even have the same harness, just in a different color.

3. Wait! Okay, I’m good!

Look at that pose! I wonder if this was the happy holidays greeting card the family sent out.

4. When the training sets in

This beautiful girl is still a puppy. But she has finally learned to sit still for her pictures. And doing a fine job, too!

5. Showing off a new trim

Love the caramel colors! And at 17 weeks old she just got her first haircut. I think it suits her, don’t you?

6. That paw!

It really doesn’t look real. Like the paw of a stuffed animal, not a real live dog.

7. This is Thor

And what a handsome boy he is! And that stride. Makes me think of a model on the catwalk.

8. I found a prize!

The way he’s got his paw on that stone. It looks like his day at the beach was fruitful.

9. This is Sebastian

Look at how cute he is with that expression. But it’s the spot on his tail that does it for me. What a heartbreaker.

10. I am royalty

As a duke, I was raised to be proper. And I also keep my eyes on those common people around me. You never know what they might be up to.

11. Where’s the doodle?

This boy seems to be 99.999% Bernese Mountain Dog. There’s hardly any poodle in him at all. But he is very cute!

12. Well, hello

That is such an inquisitive face. And the crossed paws finish the look.

13. Oh, I can’t decide

I kind of like the shaggy, before look. But I love how his coloring is enhanced by the cut. Such a beautiful boy!

14. And, liftoff!

That is such a great capture. This little guy seems to have boundless energy.

15. Those golden eyebrows!

Apparently this is a mini Bernedoodle. Just 9 weeks old. I just love the gold accents of his face.

You are such a crazy driver, dad! Look at how I need to hold on to the door!

17. Awww, what a cutie

She is such a cuddly little doll! And the tail that looks like she dipped it in paint. Cuteness overload!

18. Old, grey beard

Seriously, he looks like an older man with a beard. A very good looking older man with a beard!

19. Just sit and stare

At her. That’s what I did for a few minutes. She is just so cute and pensive looking.

20. They named her Maple

Can you think of a more perfect name for a dog that color? She’s such a gorgeous golden red color.

21. Daddy’s girl

This is Ava. She is a very cute 5 month old puppy. That is one big puppy!

22. What a handsome boy!

This is Billy who is 8 months old. I think he is absolutely gorgeous! He’s been helping his owners cope during COVID.

23. What a big baby

Okay. She’s two, so she’s more of a toddler. But she still loves sitting on mom’s lap.

24. Wise fashion choice

Someone has matched his bandana to his coat extremely well. And that tongue!

25. A big old fluff ball

He’s just been trimmed and groomed. The look on his face says he’s not too sure about his new look and is a bit hesitant about getting his picture taken.

26. About to take a dip?

I have long thick hair that makes me so hot in the summer. I can’t imagine how hot these guys must get.

27. Bear sized teddy bear

Holy moly! Look at the size of this guy! 130 pounds. I wonder if they were expecting him to grow to that size.

28. I wonder is he shares

His spot on the couch, I mean. Probably not, because that very much looks like is spot and his spot alone.

29. Let’s play!

Who could resist that? Even if he does look too young to fully appreciate the rules of a game of catch.

30. At first he looks so huge

And the you realize where he’s standing. Which is the arm rest between the front seats. He’s just a baby!

31. Sploot!

Some people call this frogging, but splooting is a way better term, IMO. Regardless what you call it, this is so cute!

32. It took me a moment

Can you see what I finally saw? There are two puppies there. Snoozing together in their own little cuddle ball.

33. Those toe beans!

This little guy is just 8 weeks old. And look at the size of the paws those toe beans are in. He’s going to be a big boy!

34. Putting the mountain . . .

In Bernese Mountain Dog. Although I’ve never seen one this color. I think there’s something else besides BMD and poodle in this mix.

35. I can’t stand it

Seriously, can you imagine having a dog this cute? Those eyes. That tongue. It would entirely get its way with just a look.

36. Casper, the friendly puppy

Yes, his name is Casper. Isn’t that perfect? And he isn’t a true Bernedoodle, since he has some Australian Shepherd thrown in. But that’s okay!

37. One day he’ll be huge

Look at those stubbly little legs and giant sized paws. Before long, he’ll be giant sized all over.

38. Lap dog

Should there be a size limit? At what size can we stop calling something a lap dog, even if it likes to sit on laps?

39. Puppy dog eyes

I can’t stand it. And it’s not just the eyes. Everything about her is so expressive.

40. What a difference!

This is what happened in the span of 5 months. Your cute little puppy turns into a horse.

41. Sweet prince

His name is Atlas. But he reminds me a princess sitting on a throne.

42. Aptly named

This is Athena. I definitely see the face of a warrior princess, don’t you?

43. Even puppies go to school

This is Bernard’s first day of school. I guess he has to wear a uniform.

44. Ah, perspective

Henry here looks like he’s the size of Godzilla. But at 50 pounds, probably not.

45. Definitely a teddy bear

Don’t you just want to cuddle this guy? He looks like a big, squeezable plush toy.

46. The look of love

Am I right? Is this the face of a baby who loves her daddy. She’s just 8 weeks old and her name is JoJo.

47. Still a little unsure?

This is the first day home for this sweet baby. I think Judd isn’t too sure of his surroundings yet.

48. Snow day!

Bernese Mountain Dogs love the snow and cold. I just that isn’t bred out of the Bernedoodle.

49. If it fits, I sits

And even if it doesn’t. When he weights 150 pounds and still wants to sit on your lap, he won’t quite fit, but he will sit!

50. Are you done yet?

He looks like he’s suffering silently while having his picture taken yet again. When all he wants to do is play.
