These two elementary school friends were so close, that they thought they could be brothers and the two decided to play a prank on their teacher. Jaxon Rosebush wanted to get his hair cut like Reddy Weldon because he was sure that with the same cut as his pal, his teacher wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. The classmates were so excited that they could hardly sit still at the salon and were all giggles the whole time.

What started as a Facebook post telling the story with a photo to show off the resemblance between the two, soon became a viral hit shared thousands of times and viewed by people all over the world. “He was like ‘yea so we can trick the teacher because we’ll look just alike. She won’t be able to tell the difference between the two of us’ And I know what Reddy looks like so that made me chuckle” said Jaxon’s mom Lydia. She mentioned that Jaxon needed a haircut because his wild hair just wouldn’t fly any longer, and this was his solution. Jaxon could barely sit still throughout the haircut, him and Reddy were so excited. “You’re gonna be bald!” Reddy giggled as the hairdresser started shaving.

It also meant a lot to Reddy’s family because Reddy is adopted, and they had been teaching him the importance of treating everyone with kindness no matter what they look like. “It’s really cool to see that move from our family, right into his relationships with his friends. And theres an innocence that children have that sometimes we lose, so if we could get some of that back, I think it would be amazing.” said Reddy’s dad ___ also at the salon to see the outcome of the boy’s haircut.

Both families are proud of their sons and how they have formed such a strong relationship with each other at such a young age. The fact that Reddy and Jaxon choose not see their obvious difference proves that hate is a learned trait and we can learn a little something from these boys.
