If you’re back in the dating game, you probably want to do it all differently this time around.

Chances are, the man, or men, you previously attracted ended up not living up to your expectations.

But the past is in the past, and the last thing you want to do is repeat it – so it’s important to focus on finding a “top 10 man” this time around.

Dating expert James Swanwick teamed up with John Gray, bestselling author of “Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus”, for an interview on the subject that you seriously don’t want to miss.

James’ mission is simple: to show us “the system to attract a powerful millionaire, CEO, world-changer, celebrity — that one-in-a-million, needle-in-the-haystack man you’ve been dreaming of”.

Sounds too good to be true, right?

It’s not, according to James. We can all attract these sorts of men into our lives if we know what we’re doing.

But even if you’re not interested in dating a celebrity or a millionaire, James’ interview with John Gray will still give you the knowledge you need to attract a man who has his life together, whatever that looks like to you.

Let’s get into some of John Gray’s best tips.

1. Surround yourself with the right people

You won’t find a top 10 man if you’re not in the right locations. Put yourself in different locations to find men who share the same values as you.

For instance, if you were looking for a wealthy man, don’t assume that he’ll be showing off his money (and those who do show off probably aren’t those who you want to be with). Try joining a club in your local area, whether bike riding or sailing, and get out of your comfort zone – you never know who you might meet in the process.

2. Don’t be easy to get

It can be tempting, when you think you’ve found your dream man, to do everything you can to hold onto him. But this is a big turnoff for men. It’s much better to make him earn it and play by your own rules, whether that means following the 6-date rule or simply listening to your heart.

3. Recognize trade-offs

Every relationship has trade-offs. A relationship should be based on equality, but a man should also pursue and earn your love. By having to work hard at the relationship, a man will bond with you more than if you’re instantly all over him. Make sure you’re clear on what your values are from the very beginning – but don’t behave like you’re in a job interview.

4. Don’t look for happiness

When a woman is happy, she releases hormones that attract a man. That’s why we call it “chemistry” – a woman’s happiness makes her radiant, beautiful and attractive. It’s important that you make it clear that you’re happy with or without a man, however, and that you won’t need to rely on him for your happiness.

5. Appreciate what he gives to you

… but don’t pursue him. The best way you can bond with a man is to be receptive to what he does or create situations for him to do things for you. When you pursue a man, he’ll sit back. Let him pursue you – it’s in his nature to be the pursuer.

If you’re keen to find a man who has his life together, the tips mentioned in this article should get you off to a good start.
