Some kids display wondrous bouts of creativity at an early age. In this case, five young girls gather to perform an angelic dance. In the beginning, the dancers enthusiastically enter the room, ready to perform. They quickly take their starting positions, staying spread out in a symmetrical formation. Their dresses are wide and white, laced with bright lights.
A heavenly classical piece plays, while the girls start to perform different moves. One can see a lit Christmas tree in the background with alternating light patterns, adding an interesting ambiance to the performances. A mirror is featured to the right, slightly off camera, with a giant rug in the middle. The setting looks like a cross between a living room and a dance studio.
The sides of their dresses seem to be attached to rods, allowing them to utilize their clothing to unique ends.
They really do look like angels. In fact, angels have taken on a variety of different interpretations in art through the centuries, but these days, they are generally viewed as heavenly-looking women draped in white, sometimes featuring a halo.
These real life angels continue their dance, starting slow, and then breaking into more intricate choreography. At a point, they run around in a circle before reforming.
The little angels soon form into a stationary, single file line. The furthest member raises her rods as high as her arms can take them, extending outward like the wings of an angel. Next, the second furthest angel does the same, with her wings slightly lower. Then the third, then fourth, then closest angel to the camera does the same. The effect is divine.
The dancers then break form, assembling into a symmetrical spread with their backs facing the camera. Then, they begin to twirl in place. Their shimmering lights create a beautiful spectacle.
After performing a series of other unique maneuvers, the angels prepare for one last act. For the finale, the five angels assemble into a diagonal line. One member at a time, they begin to extend their wings as far out as they can. Similar to the prior wing-based assembly, this one is grand.
Getting kids interested in the arts at a young age can yield wonderful results. Whether it’s painting, drawing, music, or ballet, developing an artistic brain can bolster anybody’s life. Even though their performance isn’t polished like that of true professionals, it’s incredibly charming and beautiful. The angels do a great job, putting on a spectacular, heavenly performance.
