“Like father, like son.” “Like mother, like daughter.”
We’ve heard this phrase many times when a parent and their child look or act alike. A “splitting image,” as they call it. Parents take it as a compliment (not sure with the kids, though) and are proud of any similarity they have with their child.
But this does not apply to humans only. Our dear pets have this proud moment, too.
While some animals crossbreed, their little ones will somehow look like them one way or another. It’s a bonus if they also act like them – their mannerisms and all. And when they do, they’re just oozing with cuteness!
Here are some of the cutest dog parents with their mini-me’s, and you can be the judge of how alike they really are.
1. Smiling for a Family Photo
Kids often dread family photos – but not this one! Look how happy this little husky is to be side-by-side with Mom and Dad. They all look alike, too!
2. “Right behind you, Dad!”
This cute little puppy probably loves to follow and tail around his dad. Daddy might not notice his little one sneaking behind – like a shadow that looks just like him.
3. “Do we really look alike?”
That tilt of the head may be questinoning the similiarity between them, but no doubt there, son. You sure do.
4. Look at those eyes.
Yep. It’s all in there. All you have to do is look at their eyes and its expression, and you’ll know they’re family.
5. That wrinkly bunch.
Let’s see. The color… the eyes… the wrinkles? Yep, it’s the wrinkles, you guys. Those cute wrinkly faces say it all.
6. “Want some cookies n’ cream?”
They look like a bowl of cookies n’ cream, right? These puppies are not just cute look-a-likes of their mom. They’re all pretty yummy to cuddle, too.

These puppies just love following their mom around. Others are leading the pack, while some stay close to mom.
