#1 From garage sale cabinet to fully-functional kitchen island
This crafty mom picked up a pair of cabinets at a garage sale for $5. She then proceeded to remodel the heck out of one of them into this multi-purpose kitchen island. The all-in-one wonder houses 2 large garbage bins, a towel rack, plenty of shelf space and a beautiful wooden countertop. It even has wheels on the bottom to make moving it around a dream. Now that’s value!
This creative couple spotted an old abandoned wooden door on a random date night and decided to take it home. After a little wood work and a fresh coat of paint, they managed to take this door from curbside to bedside!
By cutting this dresser in half, an awesome do-it-yourselfer just managed to make 2 projects out of one antique dresser. Not only is this kid bench a cool hangout spot for kids, it can store all their toys and stuff too!
This sock drawer just found a new way to serve your feet! Instead of its former job of keeping your socks safe, it now takes care of your feet after a long day of work!
#5 From bi-fold closet doors to brilliant bookcase
If we saw this bookcase at a friend’s house, we would never have guessed that it was formed from bi-fold accordion style closet doors. It just goes to show that the right mindset and dedication opens up endless doors of opportunity.
This old television set may seem like a relic from the past but not to this repurposing whiz! They managed to give this TV an updated new look and purpose to find its way back into the living room.

Here’s another one of those simple but endlessly useful redesigns. Just sew up a cloth bag over an inverted stool and you got yourself a holder or bin for a ton of different things! Plus, points to this designer for the pockets and the trolley wheels for maximum mobility
This one is pretty clever. The rope and the rubber simulate the feeling of having a cushion underneath. We imagine that the rope exterior might attract the attention of some curious felines, but cat owners probably won’t mind.
Retrofitting this cooler into a pallet case might seem like a lot of work but the results are definitely worth it. After all that hard work, you can kick back anytime with your new backyard barbeque best friend and load it up with some well-deserved ice-cold drinks.

This next entry comes with a bit of a story. When this man’s wife jumped on Craigslist to try to hunt down a free piano, she got what she was looking for. The piano was indeed free, unfortunately, the reason why it was free is because it was also irreparably broken.
Luckily her husband is a bit of handyman and managed to turn a bad situation upside down by doing the same to the piano! Now it hangs as a magnificent bookcase and a great story to tell their friends.
