For most of us, our basement is a place we donโt particularly enjoy visiting. Itโs accumulated so much junk that you canโt be sure whatโs even in there anymore.

Just because you donโt have any real diamonds, emeralds or gold in your old jewelry, it might still be worth some money. Old costume jewelry is particularly popular. Get it checked out by a professional if youโre not sure.

Got your hands on an old perfume bottle? At the beginning of the 19th century, before mass production, glass blowers were producing some truly beautiful bottles for storing perfume. Antique perfume bottles can sell for more than $4,000.

7. VHS Tapes

Pokemon cards are relatively new, especially compared to most of the items on this list. But the super-rare cards can still sell for a lot of money. While you can buy a full pack of cards for just a few bucks, if you have a first-edition rare card from the 90s, it could sell for thousands.
