After a long day perched up on branches sometimes owls just need a nice “comfortable” nap. Owls don’t sleep for too long though, only about 1-3 hours, and his little guy certainly looks knocked out. But don’t worry no owls were harmed in the taking of this photo. This young owl found himself very cozy on the sandy floor, we almost thought it was a stuffed animal!

Well hello there! This sleepy owl looks like he needs a little more personal space in order to get some sleep. But it’s rare to see such an adorable owl just lay face down on the turf, you got to snap a photo. That fake grass also seems like a perfect spot to scratch an owl belly on. Owls are such breathtaking animals. Spotting one in the wild is definitely a moment you’ll never forget. When a family found this owl face down on the high branch of a tree they were a bit worried… Until those mysterious eyes popped wide open! The little owl was just taking a quick a quick nap.

If we ever saw a sight like this out in the wild, we might have to take a second look to make sure this feathered friend is alright. Thankfully, now we know this owl is more than okay resting on his branch. If only he had a nice pillow underneath his head.

Just when we thought it couldn’t get any cuter than one sleeping owlet… Then there were two adorable owl babies resting together. These two owlets look nice and secure cuddled up beside each other. It’s nice to have a little sleepy buddy when perched up in the trees. Rest sweetly you two!
