Being funny and charismatic isn’t really something you can learn. It’s something you were born with. The ability to make people laugh and bring joy to others is a gift that only some possess.
Little Lennox Salcedo is one of those people with a natural talent for comedy.
The 3-year-old not only has his town of Walnut, California laughing but also thousands on social media. Aside from being ridiculously adorable, this kid has comedy in his bones.
His internet superstardom started during his game in the Walnut Pony Baseball League. Lennox was up and told by his coach to run as fast as he could to home plate.
But Lennox doesn’t seem to take orders. Like most comedians, he’s a true individual.
This hysterical little boy mockingly starts walking in slow motion, a la Michael Scott’s impression of the Six Million Dollar Man Steve Austin
And he does this all the way to the plate as the crowd is hysterically laughing. And he refused to stop until his bit was over.
Lennox’s dad, who was field coaching, he tried to usher his son along faster by taking his son gently by the arm.
But Lennox refuses and shakes his dad’s arm off and continues to walk in slow motion. His dad just laughs and walks away.
This little kid’s commitment to his routine is just beyond hilarious.
“Go Len, you’re almost there,” says someone cheering Lennox on in the video.
The team mom, Leah Espinoza, captured the whole thing on video.
“He is definitely a character,” Lennox’s mom, Sabrina Salcedo told TODAY. “The third base coach asked him to run fast to home plate, and Lennox gave him a thumbs up. And this is what he did.”
Lennox’s cousin, Tabby Rodriguez, posted it on Twitter.
“If any of you need a laugh, the coach told my cousin to run home as fast as he can and he delivered,” the video’s caption reads.
That video went viral and was viewed more than 8.26 million times.
It retweeted more than 147,000 times with 423,000 likes.
“He was definitely trying to put on a show for everyone,” Rodriguez told TODAY.
The internet is absolutley in love with this video.
“For a second I thought my video was loading but then I saw the guy in white move and realized the kid was going that slow,” said one Twitter user
