Some kids are born to be performers, they light up the stage from a very young age and showcase their talents. This 3-year-old sung the National Anthem with no problem, becoming the youngest person to ever sing the important song to kick off a college basket ball game.
The National Anthem has never been so adorable, see this toddler nail the classic song to open-up one of the Syracuse Women’s basketball games.
3-year-old, Drake Grillo, became the youngest person to ever sing the National Anthem live with this precious performance
It’s hard to believe a 3-year-old could even memorize the National Anthem, let alone sing it for a live audience of over 6,000 people. Drake Grillo isn’t just any toddler, watch as he bravely nails the classic song and blows the audience away.
When the video starts, his mother kneeling next to him, the announcer introduces the 3-year-old from Auburn, New York, and he wastes no time starting the Star-Spangled Banner.
The young singer doesn’t skip a beat, he goes through the song word for word and the audience is captivated
This has to be the cutest version of the National Anthem out there, the 3-year-old hasn’t quite got his “r’s” down yet, which adds an extra layer of adorable to the performance.
People in the crowd smile from ear to ear, some people even snap pictures and videos of the little boy. As the song goes on, he continues to impress everyone in attendance as they watch in silence.
He is way beyond his years, some adult singers can’t even handle the pressure, but Drake sings the song with ease
We’ve all seen the Star-Spangled banner mess-ups, not this 3-year-old, he handles the pressure like a true champion. Drake even knows to take a big breath in the middle of the song, that’s just natural instinct!
You could hear a pin drop the whole time he’s singing, people can’t take their eyes off of the impressive toddler. You could see him sing this 100 times and it would never get old, it’s just so heart-warming.
Naturally, the 3-year-old mispronounces some of the more difficult words, but that makes it even more adorable
Of course words like “gleaming” or “perilous,” were a bit more complicated for Drake to pronounce, but he does his best. He pretty much just learned how to talk after all, so it’s extremely impressive none the less.
He finishes strong, going through the whole song without stopping once. As soon as he finished, the young boy gets shy and runs to his mother.
People all over loved the video on YouTube, the young star had almost 1 million views and over 9k likes
The Syracuse Women’s basketball team uploaded the video to YouTube and it went viral. People everywhere were impressed with the patriotic 3-year-old, over 9k liked the video and over 1k people commented.
“When I was 3 I ate dirt.” Said one YouTube user.
